Maybe there will be more comments if the title was not so random?

What can you offer?

Btw. Where is Lisa...?
Who is next?

Fotolia paid my earnings. Quicker then any other time they paid out.

How long did you wait? I'm waiting now.

After few months it's so quiet around... Let me ask how is your success here? Did anyone have sales lately?

WOW the delta keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Wow, FT's ignorance is just stunning!

If OLEG the magnificent and his FT business were doing so well then:
1. Why didn't they start with an opt out to DPC?
2. Why did they add an opt out? Because they were in my opinion breaking the law and the community reacted accordingly.
3. Why did FOTOLIA NOT email all of their contributors explaining the opt out option? We know why. Greed.
4. When people started to opt out, why did they concoct an EL option to lure people back, why not do it up front? Greed.
5. Why did FOTOLIA then start an email campaign asking contributors to opt back in?
6. Why did FOTOLIA start kicking people out of FOTOLIA for OLEG's own greed?
7. Why did FOTOLIA hire a fake customer (or customers) to keep tweeting how great DPC is?
8. Why couldn't FT get real buyers to tweet how great DPC is?

If 6 million images isn't bothering them.............hmmmmm then why the above?

Golden points here above!

Is that all-opt out from DPC and...?

I just can't understand why people keep their PF with places like FT if they are treated like this  ::) All ethical limits were crossed and authors still upload to that place, help to grow? Sorry, what I'm missing here?

I'm not sure if it's good idea to welcome client on your own Sys site and send him to Alamy and GL then... This way we can put all micros list on the right side of image... SS, FT, DT, SF, 123rf, CanStockPhoto, etc, etc... What for?

Print on Demand Forum / Saatchi Art - general
« on: June 07, 2014, 03:33 »
Almost 2 weeks ago I've sent them email but never got respond so I wonder is it alive? Is there anybody who upload images to SA? Any contact, any sales, any living here?

I can see they don't read IPTC, they want all info including photo taken time, materials, H x W x D dimensions, etc.
Is it for digital images at all?

Anything about Saatchi Art?

Print on Demand Forum / Re: I've pulled out of Crated
« on: June 05, 2014, 03:30 »
... Much later, I realized I wasn't showing up in search, so I emailed support.  Eventually I was told that the 'curator' thought some of my images were too "stocky"...

Same here.
"I noticed that some of your images are leaning more towards the stock photography category ... and others are more landscape and nature. I would recommend limiting your gallery to only the most artistic shots."

and they are not specially interested in coming here for some time:
"since Crated is now live and we have a support, faq, and forum here on our site, it's difficult to split our time across outside sites discussing Crated. "

I deleted all my stuff and forgot about Crated.  If they ever announce a clear and well defined acceptance procedure, I might try again.  But not this weird guessing game.

Yeah, they are weird. They welcome us but never give 100 % informations (or even 50%). It doesn't look to professional and it's new company. Bad start.

I'm glad that you want to continue updating your portfolio. Our curation process is very fluid, as you upload more pieces that may catch their eye they may view your gallery again. We do appreciate the feedback regarding copyright, we are reviewing if we will offer a site watermark for customers although it is not in the immediate future. At the time we've disabled right clicking and dragging once viewing an image at a resolution that we would like to protect. I will pass along the feedback to our team!

Oh what?!  :o   :o   :o  Is this some kind of game? Huge sad joke guys!  ???

Steve, your answer of having a fluid curation process isnt at all satisfactory. Sounds like you expect an artist to upload and upload till the cows come home, hoping for some ill-defined, magical something-or-other that might (or might not) catch some mysterious curators eye and entice him or her to check a portfolio again and say Voila! These images are fabulous!! I think Ill curate this portfolio now!!!

I cant imagine that kind of fluidity" is going to appeal to busy people who have better things to do than continuously upload in hopes of a response of some sort, which may never come. A simple statement like Sorry, your images are not what were seeking at this time would be better.

Thanks Martha for all informations, very appreciate!
Looks like they are just not ready for this business.
Three days ago I wrote email to them asking what I'm standing on, what should I do - upload more images, wait or what...
"I'll make sure that our curators take a look at your gallery asap and will let you know either way."
It was 3 days ago. I feel befooled.

This is not pro, this is discouraging and I know now it won't work for me. I'm not a child with all days free to make and only upload images just to show them to the world. I have few more authorial sites and not interested in another one. So dear Crated, thank you for trying, but looks like it was short trip. I don't see any sense of uploading even one image more here. One big waste of time. You don't treat us seriously at all.

Good luck!

Last month dead, yesterday very good day and today ... is it weekend again?  :P

465
1 or 2 months ago I removed all images and left account empty to see if something happens after sh*tshop acction. In next days I was going to close account definitely. Today they asked me for reason why I deleted images. In respond I asked if they can close my account.

I can't tell how many emails we have exchanged last months because of Partner programs etc. How hard it was to get any info, long story. Many bad things happened here, to many to come back ever.

I just can't imagine ... Why so big agencies treat us as we are fools?!  ???  ::)

466
 ??? This is unbelievable:

"...we would be glad to re-start our cooperation..."

After all I saw and went through? No, thanks  ::)

FT is funny... I asked them to close my account today. About 2 hours later I got email with info that I got private message from FT on my account (you can read it after login) so tried to login and read it. Gues what - account is closed, no login anymore  :P
Fotolia, what are you doing? Sending PM after closing account?  ;D You could have sent traditional email at least  ;D

Whatever, nice to be out.

"Our technical team has resolved the issue. The status in your distribution link is now updated as opted out."

I really love the fast and effective contact with Alamy! Others should learn.

And about more money from "Novel Use Scheme2" that's very nice what they decided to do. Just ask them yourself (I'm not sure it's public info). Just one more time - others should learn.

471
Eeem, 2-10% for authorial work? Really? This is some gloomy joke, right?
All this "login and click on... follow, followers, ..." is some children's play? As I don't believe grown pros play that way  ::)

Thanks guys for all info here. I was thinking about start uploading to CP and try it. Ohhh, that would be big WOT, I would not forgive myself that mistake!

Good to have you all here AGAIN :)

472
Do you, guys, have PM blocked? Please...

Admit, May was bad, there was no nice surprice.

I've noticed I have green IN in Distribution section right after new dashboard came. Weird - I opted out in last April. Now waiting for clarify from Alamy.
