Thought about giving phone stuff a bash but the sales over at IS for mobile images are not that encouraging - 260 pages using the keyword mobilestock, less than 13k images and into single figure downloads by page 2
I'm still intrigued, however and it would be useful to hear stories from anyone pursuing this niche.

Why should you need third party programs to get reports on your sales. Why shouldnt it be the responsibility of the agency to supply adequate reporting, as any other normal company.
'Cos IS management are a bunch of cheapskates who'd rather spend the profits on lattes and laptops - or maybe lap dancing.

Still not fixed then? Maybe next year. In the meantime send their IT Director back to school with a thick ear - he obviously missed several of the important lessons and failed to swot up on his homework.

Your work is a cut above some of the stuff they are accepting these days. My only suggestion would be to substitute one of the Pisa images for something else in another category - to demonstrate diversity

The forum junkies must be writhing around on the floor making popping noises by now.
Here's hoping the thing will be back by the time I've had my cornflakes and with bumper sales on the board.

Time to throw out the incumbent IT team and bring in some chimps who might, by some random mashing of various buttons and thingamajigs, manage to fix the thing before I'm carving up the Christmas goose.

Not yet 50% of my earnings at the venerable SS for October but nonetheless I am impressed and hope this means they have finally got their arse in gear.
My flabber is well and truly gasted.
PS. RPD is 0.85

I telephoned their IT Director and he said "write me an email describing your issue and I'll ignore it later"

I recently extracted payment* from my own mother for some portrait work so you can imagine the short shrift I give to penny pinching fleabags asking me to work for a pat on the back - and I don't care who they are or where they are from.
*Admittedly this payment was in the form of a bottle of Tullamore Dew and thus heavily discounted...but I got paid!

Back down from 16%
I've got more chance of becoming the next pope than hitting the 11,000 RC's required to make 17%

Ferris keeps bringing out new product and he distributes it through just about every retailer on the planet so clearly pays no attention to his own advice.
There are a lot of these guys out there making a lot of money from common sense and their blather is mostly distilled from older sources - including their Grandma.
Read Plato, Aristotle et al and this stuff (much like stock photography) has been done before and will be done again.

I should have added; despite the recent "improvements" you will have to put up with a tortuously slow site performance. Old geezers using walking frames can move at a brisk pace in comparison.

Looking at it from a cold-blooded business point of view you would benefit by uploading your port to IS. Despite all the shenanigans of recent years they are still in the top 4 for a reason. Also, I have seen a steady revenue increase since July to very nearly 2011 levels. I personally didn't think that would happen and no doubt said as much - but I've eaten my fair share of humble pie in life and it no longer chokes.
I know many on this forum don't like them very much, I don't like them very much - but I have to do business with people I don't like every day or I'd be on a street corner with a harmonica and a tin cup.

EL or ED who cares - but they have been stingy with E's of late. However, generous helpings of both chubby and slim ODD's, plus a goodish portion of SOD's has softened the blow considerably.

The real story behind the techno babble about code, accommodating, alterations and whatnot is the fact the old geezer in the basement who used to whack the servers with a spanner has snuffed it.

The site performance needs more than a tweak...it needs a twerk.

The big fat overweight zeppelin is going down so they've chucked out some of the baggage without any discernible improvement as far as I can see. Passengers and crew will be next.

My cover via Photoguard is up for renewal and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend an insurer(s) most favoured and used by photographers in the UK based on service, reputation and cover. I'd be prepared to pay a higher premium than 160 annually for a trusted and popular company. If they come cheaper so much the better.
I'm spending much more time in London and elsewhere shooting travel/editorial and need to make sure I'm with one of the top insurers in the field.
Cheers.

I can still make a cup of tea whilst I'm waiting for my stats page to load. On the plus side, watching the progress bar keeps Flash Harry* entertained.

I'd have preferred an ignore button. I'm thoroughly cheesed off with that twonk whose always bleating about lack of sales for his portfolio - men in hard hats lolling about in front of oil refineries.

New schmoo - I preferred the vintage Istock of 2010/11 when my bestsellers were on page one of the best match and new work generated income. Bring it back please - but without the vintage site performance.
I don't know about Germany but living in England is damned expensive. My favourite Rich Tea biscuits have gone up 10% in Sainsburys.....10%!! Daylight robbery.

tardy. very tardy. slipshod even.
Why? The terms of the agreement are that payments will be made in the following month. They've still got a week to complete it. I'm no fan of iStock's treatment of us but I don't understand why they get criticised for adhering to the payment terms.
Indeed but I'm an impatient prole. I see Lobo has made a further announcement so I will now climb the wooden hills to bedfordshire in the secure knowledge the PP will be completed by the time I'm eating my breakfast kipper.
