While there may be vastly more images made available for sale via AI, where will the demand for all those extra images come from?.....

Is there a way on Adobestock to find out the filename of a file you have uploaded to your portfolio in the past?
I have an old upload and I can't locate the file on my PC. If I could get the original filename, it help alot! Thanks 56
Adobe Stock / Re: Significant growth of Adobe Stock collection over the last 7 months« on: November 24, 2024, 17:05 »I do exactly that, I test them against an alternate solid color layer, usually a bright red, sometimes other colors. Oh, I mis-understood, I thought the issue was rejections not inspection time. I think for me, both jpg's and png's take equivalently agonizingly long to get inspected. 57

Regarding your rejection problems with png's...I generally don't have an issue getting png's with transparent backgrounds accepted. One thing I do (working in Photoshop), when I create the png, to in effect test it while still in Photoshop, I alternate a pure white layer and then a pure black layer behind the masked isolated subject and check for anomalies around the edges etc.. 58

I guess the good news for traditional contributors is that the huge growth in AI content doesn't seem to have had a proportional impact in reduced sales of traditional content. Of course without adjusting for overall sales growth, that may not necessarily be true.
As a side note, AI content is kind of funny...it is really a collaboration between the artist/prompter and the AI tool. The fact that everyone is using the same small set of AI tools in some sense leads to a lot of "similars" 59

So how does it work at SS? Who generates the AI content they are selling?

FWIW, I just had a few non-editorial photos reviewed within a week or so. Maybe they are starting to catch up?....or maybe it is random...time will tell.

Are the "max 3 days" items non-editorial non-AI photographs? 65

It's also interesting that editorial images seem to go through quickly (overnight).

Off Topic / Re: I Work In WNC Here Is The Truth« on: October 08, 2024, 18:36 »Like I said before, I do not trust either party. I tend to focus on how I can help those around me in need. I don't expect the gov. to come and help in any way so I am not frustrated or dissappointed. The community respones is amazing and needs are being covered well! Focus on what matters and ignore the rest, amazing progress is being made by the people without the gov. that is a good thing! I can share so many stories of people stepping up and givng all they have to help others. Bye bye to the gov. we shall survive and in good fashion. What would you suggest as a good way to donate monetarily? 67
Adobe Stock / Re: Adobestock Review Time« on: September 30, 2024, 15:46 »Same here, uploaded 300 images like 2 months ago and still I have 75 in pending, never been in this situation with Adobe, I am really curios what is the reason behind it. Presumably it is the onslaught of all the AI submissions? 68
Adobe Stock / Re: Adobestock Review Time« on: September 27, 2024, 08:41 »I don't bother submitting to Adobe any more. The review process takes far too long and the rejections for "quality issues" are a joke. I've better things to do with my time than waste it on a lengthy and inconsistent process. Agreed, and it is the fact that you may have to wait 8 weeks for this to happen that makes it significantly worse. If you had to wait a few days and could possibly edit and resubmit, it wouldn't be nearly as troublesome. 69

Adobe Stock / Re: Announcing bonus payment for Adobe Firefly training« on: September 18, 2024, 12:07 »I agree with you. My bestsellers also got copied by a dozen other accounts with exact same keywords and descriptions. With current AI it is that easy and it shows that copies are made by AI. My sales are significantly down and its disappointing. I dont know what to do about it either, since copies are not identical, but close enough (nope, I will not post my bestsellers here so more people will copy them, but they were selling 30+ times per day before copies appeared, now its 2-3 sales only)Should we expect firefly bonus this year?i see copies of my best seller renderings all over Adobe, even same title and keywords. How did you find the copycat files? 71
Adobe Stock / Re: Firefly payment on 13 septembre 2024« on: September 17, 2024, 21:12 »
Interesting, I got more than I expected...I am guessing it is because of the videos. Makes you wonder if it is worth shooting a lot of videos just for the bonus payment?

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Re-Reviews« on: September 15, 2024, 13:37 »When you thought Adobe couldnt get any lower due to the 10 week plus review durations and length of wait for payments they are re-reviewing existing content and removing it after previously approving it :-) I had an email today removing one image due to the re-reviews taking place. Wouldn't suprise me if they were spending more time removing mages than approving new images. That sounds a bit scary. If you don't mind my asking, was it a technical issue or an intellectual property issue that cause them to remove an image? 73
Adobe Stock / Re: What's your weekly ranking and how many images?« on: September 12, 2024, 08:37 »
Yes, I wonder about the "sameness" of AI images...especially if using the same AI tool. I guess it's kind of like if everyone hired the same photographer to create stock images of typical subjects.... a lot of "similars" may result.

Adobe Stock / Re: ...and now I'm done.« on: September 07, 2024, 21:25 »
This also highlights another aggravating aspect of rejections....generic non-specific and sometimes misleading reasons for rejection.
