ISO = 100. Is that too high? I thought that was ok?

Of course as I said I enlarge every image to 100% BEFORE submitting. If it is not sharp clear and detailed I do not submit.

I enlarge every image to 100% before submitting and have a new wide screen monitor. There is not much more I can do but must soldier on if I want to reach my $500 sales target in first year.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The landscape in Yallingup is devoid of trees owing to westerly wind gales. Yet re duck last week had 3 collages of ducks accepted. Just a bit confused as some days images accepted other days similar ones fail. Will have to be more creative and adventurous.

Shot with Canon EOS 600D lens 55-250mm in RAW. Minimal processing. I have sold many images of melaleuca trees.

Another pic with critique from SS.
PS-Image was shot in raw and minimal changes applied. Poor Lighting--Image has exposure issues and/or incorrect white balance. Focus--Image is not in focus or the focal point is not appropriate for the composition. Composition--Image is poorly composed and/or poorly cropped. How may I fix it? Thanks. 58

Focus--Image is not in focus or the focal point is not appropriate for the composition.
Overuse--Image has excessive noise reduction and/or excessive sharpening effects applied. Composition--Image is poorly composed and/or poorly cropped. Another panorama with above critique from SS. How I may improve will be appreciated. PS- picture is as shot apart from panorama stitch. 59

Newbie Discussion / Sales on Alamy« on: November 29, 2013, 19:49 »
I have had no sales at all in Alamy and looking at what buyers searched for I can understand why as the engine picks out any word in the list which is ludicrous eg.Penguin - and a pic of a beach with NO penguin as there was a mention of penguin island in it. Veterinarian and 2 pics of a brown horse came up. Very disappointed and does not come anywhere near Shutterstock which I have been on since Feb 2013 and sell pics every day despite only a small port of 2,500.I can't be bothered uploading to Alamy any more as it is so disappointing.

Shutterstock.com / Re: Inconsistent reviewing« on: November 20, 2013, 19:54 »
I am at a loss lately as all my last 3 batches have been rejected for the SAME reason -POOR LIGHTING and cropping even the illustrations when in the past they were accepted. Is the machine out of order or what t???Getting very fed up with the inconsistencies here .Need to review the review process.

Newbie Discussion / Alamy search terms« on: June 11, 2013, 19:28 »
I am perplexed as to why a buyer searching for TEA would be shown a pic of my rose, or SKY a pic of an abstract design-it seems they take ANY old word out of the keywords which to me doesn't make sense and explains why I have not sold anything on their site.

Does it depend on what country you are in? All mine lately are done on a Friday regardless of submission dates so about 1 week for me.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Alamy disappoints« on: May 10, 2013, 00:02 »
When I look at the number of times my pics are viewed that is when the heading comes up, ie-gum tree=lake. , feet=kangaroos in field, etc. I cannot see how that is relevant. Also no sales compared to SS eg. Very disappointing I have stopped uploading to alamy at present as it is a real hassle with all the subsections, etc.

General Stock Discussion / Alamy disappoints« on: May 09, 2013, 19:18 »
I am amazed at the way Alamy has put the search terms , eg-under gum tree a picture of a lake emerges! Under betting a pic of a horse in a field.

General Stock Discussion / Abstract designs at shutterstock some times accepted othertimes rejected« on: April 16, 2013, 20:29 »
Abstract designs at shutterstock some times accepted othertimes rejected I find very frustrating despite contacting them and requesting another inspector, obviously someone there hates them as newest reason is rough edges!! Yet previous accepted had worse so called rough edges!! Has any one else found this inconsistency with SS?

Newbie Discussion / Alamy pseudonyms« on: March 29, 2013, 02:12 »
I have been accepted on Alamy and used my real name as a pseudonym then realised it was not right and changed it .Will the new pics I uploaded be seen under my new pseudonym? If not how would I change it?Thanks.

General Stock Discussion / Abstract designs rejected« on: March 27, 2013, 19:26 »
I had a lot of my abstract designs accepted by SS at first but the last two times ALL have been rejected yet the quality is better than those accepted before and they sell very well for me.Should I wait until another reviewer comes ? Is this normal for my honeymoon to be over as have been in SS only 2 months? I am at a loss to unders- tand why.

The reasons for 2 of them were-images too soft- I am at a loss to understand that.

General Stock Discussion / Acceptance at Alamy« on: March 18, 2013, 16:24 »
How difficult is it to be accepted on Alamy as 4 of my best images failed the QC test yet were accepted by SS? Is it a site worth persevering with or not? Thanks for any advice.

My uploads to DT the past month or so have been mostly rejected so I am not bothering at present as the same pics rejecte dby them are accepted at SS and other. Very disappointing as the sales are also abysmal at DT- what is going wrong?

MicrostockSubmitter / Re: Is Shutterstock Upload Working For Anyone [MicrostockSubmitter]« on: March 14, 2013, 04:00 »
Since 2 hours ago SS has been unable to connect with google chrome so perhaps their server is down?
