Pond5 / Re: Can I download my content in Pond5
September 11, 2023, 09:55
I know that you can download your videos one by one on "my uploads page - edit button", but for the whole portfolio I suggest you contact the P5 team for assistance.

Same here. Poor sales this beginning 2023. Sad!

Nice. It works well!

Adobe is killing my earnings with those small sales. Much worse then Shutterstock  >:(

They asked for vertical videos claiming they are in high demand. So, I uploaded 100 vertical background animations on July 2022.
Now, in October, most of my vertical videos were selected for the free collection. It doesn't make sense!
They also selected other 997 videos that are in high demand across the other agencies. Many of them have 1, 2 or more downloads at Adobe Stock itself.

Not for me this offer, thanks !

@Brasilnut - Thanks for posting the video. Great interview!
Are you Brazilian?

As a test, I uploaded 500 videos about a year ago. Sold 2 videos only = 22$. Depressive  :'(

The last royalty statement I have is from December 1. Is this normal?

Shutterstock.com / Re: Very low video sales

Same thing for me gnirtS

I wish I could quit Shutterstock, but looking at my numbers at Pond5 and AdobeS, that would be the end of me in this business.
January with only 15% comission SS made me 3x what P5 did. Normally its 5x(+).

I did quit Istock and Storyblocks at the time, for the same reasons, but unfortunately I can´t afford to do the same with Shutterstock.

Just saw your portfolio. Your animations are great!

I took down my portfolio at Storyblocks when they introduced the new membership program. I wasn´t too happy with the 50% cut and the low sales already... AS and P5 didn´t took off after that. I am afraid I might have done the wrong move, considering your statistics.

Thanks.

I find your earnings very good considering the size of your portfolio.
I have the same earnings in Adobe Stock with 6K videos :(

"Average for the last half of 2019, about $235 a month... average for 2020, about $425 a month."

Can you tell me the size of your portfolio, please?

Adobe Stock / Re: No sales in August
August 28, 2020, 13:56
AS is getting worst every month comparing to last years earnings. Very frustrating!!!

2019: JUNE = $ 123.19  / JULY =  $ 238.28  / AUGUST =  $ 155.50
2020: JUNE =  $ 86.34  / JULY =  $ 53.20  / AUGUST =  $ 51.45

If this goes on I´ll have to close my account. Not worth all the work!

Thousands of videos in my portfolio and only 3 sold this month = 53$
Ridiculous!!!

Shutterstock doesn't deserve my editorial videos anymore, but they are the only one that actually sells them :(
Come on Adobe, do something about it!

Adobe Stock / Re: 503 anyone?

Not working in Portugal too

May and June I sold 3 videos only. Same as Storyblocks... Wich makes me really, really worried .  :-\
I have a 5K portfolio by the way...
#72
Great videos man!

#73
I sell my videos on different agencies!

I have always asked myself if it wouldn't be better to stay only at Pond5...

What drives me down off this ideia is the fact that Pond5 have its "dry seasons" too. Shutterstock sometimes saves my life, despite the low price business practice.
