I thought DT allows you to delete 30% of the new files younger than six months. All the other older files can be deleted anyway

Newbie Discussion / Re: Image management
September 11, 2008, 21:04
I use an excellsheet in which I have a column for the filenumbers, the title of the image and the agencies I submit to. With letters and colors I keep track of what's pending, accepted, rejected and what can be resubmitted.
If I would I could also put the info in Prostockmaster. Now its easy to handel, but maybe if I have so many images like sharply it could be difficult.
I have my images seperated in folders of 100 pics and have different folders for jpegs, psd/tiff files and originals

I'm a mac user, so the choice was easy: Prostockmaster. I'm satisfied about the programme. Oke, there is always something to wish, but they are also developping, and listening to the customers.
It's fast, but I have never used Cushystock, so I can't compare those two

General Macrostock / Re: Lonelyplantimages.com

If they accept you and offer you a contract, than you have to sent in at least 500 exclusive  images per quarter. That's a lot. So you really have to be a travel photographer to make so many travel pictures

General Stock Discussion / Re: Billing form ?
September 05, 2008, 10:03
We used to have checks, 10 years ago or so. But that took so much time. You had to go to the bank to get your money, and they are closed on the times you are free, so take free time of your work etc.
Now we all do everything by bank. You have internetbanking, so you can pay all over the world. very easy.
if you want money, you go to a paying machine. In shops you pay with your bankpass with pincode or cash.
No I don't want to go back to the check time

I use the programme Prostockmaster for SS, FT, DT, StockXpert, BS, Canstock, 123rf and Istock (it works fine)
For the rest I use Cyberduck to upload to the other sites

I also have the same thing. How stupid. I hope they will solve this soon.

I wanted my username on the micro's to be different then on the macro's in the future, and at the same time I thought it would be better to have the same username on all the microsites.

So I tried to change my username into the same one on different sites. It's easy on SS, FT, IS (you have to open a ticket), BS, Crestock (sent an email), DT , FP. Snapvillage took some time (3 tickets), because they were not responding, finally I wrote it down here and then Brian took care of it.

Impossible to change are 123, Yay and Stockxpert. With Mostphotos you have to pay for it, I tried, but Something went wrong (the payment), so I still have to change that one.

Zymmetrical.com / Re: Zymm rejections
August 25, 2008, 12:48
I feel the same as kgtoh, asking myself if it's worth uploading, but I took the time to sent you the id's. I didn't expected you to accept all my photos. But I uploaded 50 photos, of which 47 where reviewd and 43 are rejected. so for me it's a waste of time.
23 of those had "This is a nice image, but because there are typically so many images in this category, each one must be exemplary to be marketable as midstock." The rest for bad lighting, quality or composition.

So my photos don't meet your standards and it's better for me to upload those bad photos to other sites.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Zymmetrical.com / Re: Zymm rejections
August 25, 2008, 10:02
I also had a lot of rejections with my first batch. So I asked them now to close my account. I think it's better for me to concentrate on the big six, who have accepted a lot of the rejected photos by zymmetrical.  It felt like a waste of my time, specially for a site still with the low earners

He something is wrong withyour poll.
I added a vote for other model, because I use a D300, and now it shows filmcamera. I clicked the page back and it really shows a dot at other model, so I didn't vote filmcamera

I only have a small portfolio of  100 pictures there.
