Thank you.

I have no idea what your specific situation is, but in your terms of service it says:
"Compensation
Shutterstock shall pay you a royalty for each unique download of Content for which Shutterstock receives payment. The current royalty rates are set forth on the Earnings Schedule, which schedule is incorporated herein by reference. If a customer downloads the same item of Content more than once, you will be paid once only. Please note that there may be a reporting delay for customer downloads reflected in your Shutterstock contributor account."

Searching in the web of the newspaper Ive found my image published with different news 4 times more since june. Three months of delay?

did you contact SS regarding it.. and are you working only for SS?

Yes, Im waiting answer. I work with several agencies, but the caption of the photo says from Shutterstock

Keep us updated on what SS replies.

iStockPhoto.com / Re: August Numbers
« on: September 21, 2018, 02:23 »
Glad to see someone else thinks their numbers are late. I thought I got zero for the month. Wouldn't surprise me these days...
I think that I have sold so much that they need more time to calculate the total

Or contributors earned none or so less that they are ashamed of publishing it.

506
No impact, sales are super slow here.

Shutterstock.com / SS should apply this to increase sales even more
« on: September 11, 2018, 10:39 »
I feel that, SS should implement these to increase there sales.

1- Allowing contributors to convert they earning to buy subscription from SS platform.

2- Deleting never-sold content. Images which never had any sales in 4-5 years should be deleted to improve the quality of their library.

3- Adding exclusive joining of contributors.

4- Customer downloads should have an expiry of images if not used... like 1 year or so.

5- Improving their search engine and adding more tabs like Trending, Popular (in week, month, 6 month) etc.

6- Taking feedbacks from buyers and seller both.

Whats your opinion guys?

Bad month here... wasn't expecting it so much down.

517
A manhole fire IS an IT issue.
It means they have absolutely no effective backup or redundancy planning and the whole thing relies on a single point of failure.

They also said that was completely fixed yesterday.

Yes, they should have a backup plan for such incidents, lets hope they take this seriously and add some alternative measures for such happenings.

It was fixed yesterday (maybe temporary) but its again today.

518
Its down again and is frustrating.

though its not any IT error.. there is some manhole fire which is causing trouble.
See their twitter handle for updates. I hope things get back to normal soon.

519
Customer side working fine here
Contributor side is slow but is working.

General Stock Discussion / Re: I'm very upset today.
« on: August 06, 2018, 06:53 »
Plagiarism is very common in microstock when you get a million images a week.

If you do not want to deal in such things then better try macrostock or direct selling.

521
pixabay - It`s a company based in Germany. For each image they use not legal from you, you could sue them. You can get several hundreds of for every single image. Why not..

agree on that point, but its easy for such free companies to get away saying that it was uploaded by user and we are only a hosting provider.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Bad july.. How was yours?
« on: July 31, 2018, 10:59 »
Really poo. Last July was one of the best. This year... the worst.

SS 30% down
AS slightly below than june
123RF very down
Dreamstime - avg
DP- almost dead

Tomorrow is 20

sorry but I probably missed the point :-/

So much excitement for iStock?

524
It was 2014, I was contacted with an agency for buyout license for a particular design to be used as a logo. It started with $5000 and after much negotiation the deal was finalized with $3200
And did I mention, there was lot of legal paperwork between us.

525
This is great news.
Though I have not received any email (till now) but I am sure this is a great step in contributor and adobe relation.

I already own CC subscription which will expire next year. If any contributor is qualified then how they will be rewarded with existing subscription active?
