Hi Johnnie,
Possible to give feedback to your management about getting the downloads details information available?
There is no other website just give me a lump sum number of cash, without letting me know which images had been downloaded, and at what price, and how many times it had downloaded. It is not a fair way to us, the contributors.
I would like to know this feature is coming within a date.

so this site is gone fast... not even long enough to get attention, i guess they usually paid top microstocker for their portfolio right? not other contributors uploaded there?

thanks for sharing.. I used to call myself a photorealistic illustrator back when all my work was acylic paint and colored pencils on illustration board. I shot all the reference photos. Now it's all digital. The reference photos become part of the illustration with enhancing done with airbrushing and cloning. All of my work is a composite. I call it Photo-illustration.

i remember artists are using 'airbrush' before to create photo realistic in advertising poster, those kind of pen that spray color materials.
I guess most of this kind of effects are recreated using photoshop nowadays.
like most of you had pointed out, some of it are illustration job based on a photo..it is just amazing how it works together. A good photo plus good illustration skill, and it seems most useful in food packaging, like a strawberry dip in a milk, or pieces of kiwi in the air.

Hi guys, I accidentally come across some very nice isolated food photos that i though it was a photo taken in studio with good skill, then i realize it is more than just a photo, and it is like so called realistic illustrations, based on photos. http://www.lorianzalone.com/illustration/photo-based/photo-based.htmhttp://www.pbase.com/dannysmythe/food&page=2there are two links that gave you some idea, i can't really tell it is an illustrations till i found the lighting condition is too perfect. Anyway, i tried to google informations of how it is done without success, i know it takes many illustrations skill and a good photo to make it. Anyone know some good websites to read more about it? issit done in photoshop? what is the term for this kind of illustrations? thanks.

Hi guys,
I notice that there is only 1 price for eps vector in cutcaster? so the system isn't generating different sizes for sale?
is there a way to batch edit all the price?
thanks.

Hi guys,
I know istock is owned by getty images now, for non-exclusive contributors, will our images are available in getty images for sale?
or only those in Vetta or Agency collections will be available for getty images?
I also notice that opt-in 'partner program' means it will be available for 'getty images partner sites', does it mean it will be available for getty?
thanks.

am i right to say that I can choose premier or standard for the price as long as those images aren't available through microstock agencies? Premium is for macrostock photos and standard is what we call "midstock" in germany. We cannot fasten the release process for partner agencies, because that is not only in Zoonar`s hand. Some partners needs a long time to release new photos into their databases. At some partners the distribution agencies have to wait up to six months until a harddrive with 200.000 photos is online because this partners get to much harddrives from to much agencies at the same time. But we have 500.000 photos waiting in the pipeline... So that is a long time process. But this is normal. You will have the same at at other distributors with this partners. There are other partners we can deliver with new photos much faster. Like DDP, Picturemaxx, Fotofinder and so far.

I have some questions..
there are 3 price ranges, premier, standard and microstock.. i know we should choose microstock if it is available through other microstock agencies. How about premier and standard? when i should choose premier or standard?
if there is a faster way to 'request approval' from every agencies? it seems there are 6 agencies to be requested and have to repeated 6 times for selected pictures.

thanks Colette and Rob Sylvan for the tips.
I was hoping i can do a right click and direct to the collections i need..
anyway, i figured out the drag method.
I read some tutorial that suggest to put keywords so the images can be filtered and put in the same collection.

one can import pictures from flickr..and smugsmug also?
I just tried it out..and if you want to make your book available through their online store, your book had to be bought first..by yourself, or your friends?

it is okay to use our own RF images... how about RM images? can we use it for zazzles product? do we need to inform our RM agencies about it?

I would like to have a quick way to access all my photos let's say natural landscape..in lightroom.
Is 'collection' the way to sort it? how can i add a file to the collection? i right click the images it is only to 'smart collection'.
is there a way i can quickly refer it to the collection i want? and the images in collection is just a reference, right? there is not additional folder created in hard disk, right?

Personally i had great expectations in zoonar when they offered uploading bonus, i found the uploading is good and hoping that it will generate certain income there..but so far had been quite disappointing and the polylooks partnership is gone.. I also find the portfolio interface is a bit awful, we need to scroll down all the time instead of a thumbnail pages for portfolio, and it takes many times to choose and opt-in every partnership.. Perhaps it's a silly question, but why not just sell through Alamy directly? Although you have one more agency to upload to, you then get to keep all the royalty Alamy pays (60% is what I get - I think that's standard).
+1
Take care with partnerships. Sometimes if you accept one, you will not be able to contribute directly with the partner agency never. Read all the agreement before accepting it.
That`s only one side. The other is:
Agencies like Zoonar have no or not much rejections, we have a good search rank (especially at Alamy important) because we put in different photos with different licences and styles and we put the photos to 10-20 partners and you just have to work (keywording) once. We also did the work for essential keywords, the work for submitting, translating, and the work for additional informations (at alamy: how many people, kind of photo (cutout, photo, illustration) and so far). So if you don`t have much time or very many photos it CAN be much more efficient to use a distributor like zoonar. With 60% comission we are one of the best paying distributors on the market. We also do the german manual (!) translations for free, so you also will have sales at picturemaxx, DDP, Strandperle and other Zoonar-Partners. One handicap i have to admit is, that we need many time to put in photos into the all partner databases and search engines. But this is normal and not only Zoonars fault, because the partners need many time to release new photos. After 4-7 months photographers they use the whole partner network will have good earnings.

anyone prefer to have RM license option? if i need to direct seller to buy from me through this website, I would like to put unique portfolio there, and I would like to sell as RM for some images instead of images that can get in other websites as subs download. I would like to have RM license option.
I will need to talk to my partner when i see him on monday, but as i remember we decided that RM would be too complex to add - we are trying to make a system that does RF and does it well, which makes it very easy to sell images as well as buy them. I will see if my partner has a more detailed explanation.
