Another factor which complicates the decision is collection placement. This applies to photos, not sure about other types of assets. As a non-exclusive, your content gets placed in a lower price collection vs. exclusives and as I understand it will not move between collections if you become exclusive.
Yes, right this is huge and forgot to mention. I uploaded a new file yesterday and plan on uploading a few more to check out the landscape.
Yes it is huge...then the question comes if you are non-ex and are thinking about becoming exclusive do you stop uploading or upload with images forever being in a lower price collection?

So outside of a different method of handling payment transactions, how is this different than any other agency?

Please, someone who have model released images accepted recently on Shutterstock,
In what format do you write dates? I find contradicting info about it. I've seen SS forum post about releases being rejected for the date written in the format suggested in some FAQ pages on the SS website. I couldn't get any releases accepted for months, and when I ask support about the problem I always just get a generic text about release rules, but it seems to me I'm complying with all of them.
The whole date format thing is kind of crazy. A good solution would be simply to have the release have three separate fields for month, day and year. That would solve the problem and avoid confusion once and for all.

For a few days now, I have been seeing SODs with the same value as SUBs....is that possible/normal?

I think Adobestock is great. From where I sit, it seems to be "on the rise". However, rather than changing Lightroom, I think it would be better if AS didn't use keyword order to weight keywords and rather build keyword weighting based on downloads over time. Ordering keywords manually takes more time and may in fact not be very accurate.

What I'm seeing is a slow but continual downtrend on SS while Adobestock is on a slow rise over time...and yes very recently, SS seems not so wonderful. The trend I am seeing with SS vs. AS is reflected in the poll results...used to be SS was roughly 3X AS...not anymore...AS is on the rise.

Is there a way to bulk edit extended license pricing for existing files?

What does it mean to sync my Fotolia account with Adobe Stock?
When you go to the adobe stock website and click on the button of "sell photos", the website will ask you if you already have an account on fotolia. and if you do, it will offer you to sync the accounts by clicking on a "sync" button.
Honestly I am not sure what benefits we get from doing it but I synced anyway
Thanks. Looks like I am synced...I was able to log in and saw my portfolio.

Have you done much experimenting with lowering or raising your pricing?...any insights?

For commissioned work I use a Hasselblad H6D-100C and its also got some similarities but very vague in comparisson to this. I think all digital cams nowadays have got some small flaw or another and I am not sure fast or slow lenses matters?...although the striping examples of the jpg images are really quite unacceptable
According to dpreview, the Sony A7III artifacts are due in some way to the on-sensor phase detect autofocus pixels which I don't believe the H6D has. FWIW, I agree that it is unacceptable and am frankly surprised by the A7III artifacts. Digging further, apparently other models (A6000) have exhibited similar phenomena.

My RPD is a lot better with (in order) AS, IS compared to a pitiful RPD with SS... so why?
What about total income (vs. RPD) for the same portfolio...?

Yes...while we're on the topic, I find the keyword ordering a time consuming extra step. I use Lightroom which orders keywords alphabetically. After upload, I must manually change keyword order. It would benefit everyone if keywords were all weighted equally, then as downloads occur based on certain keywords, the website would create it's own keyword weighting over time...not only easier for contributors, but actually better because weighting would be based on real data, not just the contributors guesses.

Nice port. Since some of the agencies allow you to set your own price and some do not, it would be a more insightful comparison to let folks know what price points you are setting on agencies that allow you to set your own prices.

Adobe just made the switch to Capture One Pro (except for old catalogs of images going back to 2002) a done deal. They're not selling a perpetual license for Lightroom after version 6 (which gets camera updates through the end of 2017). What they've announced for those who did buy into the Photography subscription plan sounds pretty muddled to me - I think they're focusing more on the enthusiast market and leaving the professional photographers as second fiddle.

Well, there is still the cost issue. Capture One Pro is $300. That's 2.5 years of the Lightroom Photoshop subscription (assuming Adobe doesn't raise the sub rate), and that's not counting the cost of possible C1 Pro upgrades in those 2.5 years. Also, who knows what the situation will be in 2.5 years? It's a tough call

I was waiting for this feature, I have been one of those having asked for it a while ago. So it is a good new! But as I usually upload my photos using the ftp, in a first time, then I put my keywords in order only once the photos have been reviewed (I don't want to lose my time to order the keywords of images that could be rejected), and as in the portfolio page this new feature does not exist (I wonder why Adobe did this "half" work), it is almost useless for me, or I will have to change my workflow.
A question: if I order my keywords for an image and then I copy this keywords to paste them in another image, will they keep the order?
Yes, the order you add the keywords should stay in the order you add them. I don't recommend you resort your keywords after review.

What's the reason you don't recommend resorting keywords after review?

I have the same issue. Pond5 has really low sales while my clips sell well on SS and even videoblocks. If not the free section what should be done to drive traffic.
My port : https://www.pond5.com/artist/amlanmathur

Interesting, I find the opposite. I get more sales and $$$ on POND5 than SS.

We are seeing a massive decrease in sales on Pond5 too. We have 13k of footage. There have been a lot fewer views on our footage than before... so there is probably much fewer customers there :\
Are you seeing a compensating increase in sales anywhere else?

So Capture 1 Pro is $300 US if I understand correctly? That's 30 months worth of Lightroom/PS subscription all at once. Plus I'm sure in 30 months C1 will have upgrades that cost $$$. While I hate the idea of never ending payment subscriptions...$300 seems pretty steep!....Then there is always the possibility that C1 will go subscription only in the future.

Does C1 support keywording, descriptions, and other metadata...along with searches on metadata?...e.g. could I search for all images with the keyword 'green tree'? Does it have a database like LR?

Had been using Resolve 12.5 on Win10 with no problems. Decided to try Resolve 14. I installed it, and basically, all it does is come up let you select or create a new project and then simply crash! Anyone else here experienced this and know of a solution?

I'm currently using Resolve 12.5. Any reason not to upgrade to Resolve 14? Will I be able to import all my Resolve 12.5 projects?
