I just realise that a jpg i uploaded to many websites appear as dull color compare to color i saw in adobe bridge or photoshop, i do a check and realise it is in prophoto RGB..
how can i change it? i convert that from Tiff from photoshop..
edit: just realise it is under 'edit' -> 'convert to profile'..

I just spend at least 20 minutes to regenerate 5 of my eps jpg preview from 4500 to 5000px, and re-tag all the keyword, cut and paste in photoshop and save it as another 5000px jpg. I wonder what if someone with let's say just 100 eps that wants to upload to veer? but the jpg preview is not as big as 5000px? the jpg preview for most of the eps vector are just to tag the IPTC data so the system read it and keywords are filled. It wasn't neccessary that BIG for that purpose. Other agencies are generate the size they want from the eps.. veer should have thought again this implementation.. Hi Brian,
Possible to feedback that let's veer system to generate the 5400 maximum size raster jpg based on eps we uploaded?
It takes a lot time to re-generate those eps and tag keywords?
if veer can generate it based on eps we uploaded, i am sure there are more uploadings and happy experience. thanks.
Hi MKTang -
Great question. We have looked at that - but as we are regenerating a high-res for existing content in a pretty manual way, (we just don't find the automated ways to create very satisfactory results) we don't think this would be very feasible for us to do on a regular/daily basis going forward.
To help though - we can talk to Shawn Haskell about possibly creating an action or droplet that makes it easier and faster for you.

Hi,
I tried on photoshop cs5 to rasterize an eps, and everytime the setting is reset back to CMYK and 72dpi...instead of RGB and 300dpi that i want..
I google around internet, and since CS5 is not able to remember the last setting like CS3?
any solutions?

if one has time to reduce photo size smaller to sell in subscriptions site, why not use the time to create a better images to sell in a stock agencies as higher price?
at least in the end, you will end up as a better photographer instead of a photographer which is busy resizing images.

hi thank you for the instructions.. I wasn't sure why there are some folders i failed to move, and it gave me a message that it had imported before. Actually my purpose is to 're-import' that folder to another directory. Anyway, i end up move that folder through explorer and re-import it, somehow the changes are gone..but good things just a few images.
lightroom is good to manage images, but i guess it takes some time to learn it.

Hi all,
anyone is using lightroom?
lightroom seems remember where is your folder directory and folder name. But if you physically change the folder name or move the folder to other directory, it has problem to recognise it?
let's say i had done all post-process i need on my folder and i decided to move the folder to another directory, how can i make lightroom recognised all my post process after moving that folder?
To re-import it again? or there is some proper way to move around folder so lightroom won't get confused.

i don't understand why there is a restriction of setting a 4900pixel edge raster jpg, what one should do with that old eps+jpg? i usually make it 4500 longer edge..
anyway, possible to let system to generate the sizes? just like most of the agencies do? upload eps and they will generate to the size they want to sell..

the jpg preview is for the IPTC data to get read.. it was fine before, i wonder are they doing some maintainance? I've never uploaded a jpg at Veer. Just the eps file, no jpg preview.

I am thinking it is always the end user bears the responsibility of usage of an images, like if there is a trademark, even the end user bought it from some agencies that claim is 'RF' means ok for commercial usage, it is still the end user to consider what kind of usage is appropriate.

I used filezilla before, but maybe due to poor internet connection, the transfer isn't successfully sometimes.. why not try the picworkflow? created by one guy who is active here too.. http://www.picWorkflow.com/?by=219I had a simple guides of how to upload through this website.. http://wp.me/pPDGb-39one thing that is good, you upload one time, and the files will be assigned to different websites even you are off the internet. there is a promo code 'microstockgroup', so u got 100 credits to try..and there are ways to earn credits too.. so far, i find it is much more efficient than ftp and other uploading method.

so in lightroom, there is no way to sort the keywords as what we want?
695
« on: December 12, 2010, 10:56 »
up this post, trying out lightroom 3, i notice the keywords will automatically sort by abc.. so anyone find a way to let it stay as the sequence?
thanks.

Hi Duncan, but this is not what is it in canstock, i mean if i upload an eps, i don't see a TIFF $20 for the sales, but if i upload a raster jpg or that eps, there is a TIFF $20 for sales (of course no eps, since it is a raster jpg). am i right? thanks. Hey mtkang,
Not to worry - we automatically generate all needed sizes from the EPS image.
So if you upload a single EPS file to us, we will create all the JPG and TIFF images directly. We try to make the process for you as easy as possible
Regards, Duncan

hi all,
i just notice if you upload the illustrations as vector, the maximum price is $10 eps vector. But if you upload the same illustrations as jpg format, the maximum price is XX-Large TIFF 7500x4230 px - 300 dpi $20.00
I checked my history, there are some 'vector' sales.. but since i didn't upload my vector as a jpg sales, i am not sure are some buyers looking for this kind of XX-Large TIFF?
what is your experience?
