General Stock Discussion / Re: payment method
« on: December 08, 2010, 09:05 »
oic..my bank account is a debit card as well..so i should have charged it to the debit card?

I didn't recall my bank charge me the Inward telegraphic fee for paypal to bank directly, or i just didn't remember it.

You can chose on MB if you want on VISA card or on bank account...
Bank charge fee to me only if I make payout on bank acc. but if money goes on VISA number they don't charge me anything..
So try to make payout on your VISA number....

I recently transfer some amounts from moneybookers to my bank, and i realize i was charge for around US$7-8 from the bank, for so called - Inward Telegraphic
Transfer.. it is the same charge i got, when one agency transferred $ directly to the bank.

While directly to the bank, i expect the charge..but do you get charged for something like that when you use moneybookers? i can't recall i saw the charge with paypal.

will send the bank an email...

Print on Demand Forum / Re: greetingcarduniverse anyone?
« on: December 03, 2010, 09:34 »
ya, it is just a printed greetings card, my mind was a bit confused and was thinking a buyer will get the jpg..

anyway, i did just register and upload few jpg as cards.

the required jpg is only 2100x1500 pixels, the company seems to explain they team up with some buyers (read faq where the buyers are from)..

well, it takes some times to click 2 categories..

Hope GLreviewer will come here and make a statement..

I think GLO don't have commerce paypal account.
And because of it there is fee when receiving money from GLO.

moneybookers offer better conversion rate, but it is less flexible than paypal.

First you have to register the primary bank, where is your mailing address country. If you add another bank from other country, it can't be the primary bank, and if you need to transfer it to the bank in other country, the transactions fee is double if the funds over 350EURO.

and you have to decide what currency to keep in your account, if you set it US, when EURO or pounds come in, it will convert to US. Paypal supports multi currencies..

MB takes 2,36$ only for withdraw for any amount of money, they are not taking income provision.
So if you withdraw 10 or 1000$ MB they will take 2.36$ after withdraw.
I usually withdraw money when I get paid from few agencies and than make withdraw all at once for this 2.36$.

do u mean the payment is missing $3.73 in paypal? or it is missing after you withdrawn it to bank?

is it because of conversion rate?

I just asked for a payment at Graphicleftovers. They did it very fast.  :)
But... Paypal is cutting $3.73 from the $87.88 for costs of perception.  >:(

What is your experience? is it lower if I do the transfert with moneybookers?
Thanks!

the baby is adorable.

however, i found head shots are cropped on the top sometimes.

sometimes i image taking pictures like making a sketching..you won't sketch something and find out the human head is partly out of the sketch pad.

I remember i read that blog on microstockdiaries sometimes ago, i didn't really think there is something wrong about it, it is the faster way to get exclusive good quality images.

I am even fine i am not invited, because i know i am not good enough yet. It is good veer try to do something instead of just getting all same images from everyone. In the end it will only becomes a dead slow sites or just another $0.25 per dls.

i wonder what is wrong asking a questions? I am sorry if i wasted your time but why don't you just leave stupid people like me alone?

I had a question and i had googled it and i just wanted to have a confirmation. What is wrong with that?

of course it is not easy, but that's a question to me whether there is a software to animate the dummy, so i just ask, at least now i know there isn't. I guess this questions may help somebody too..

Veer / Re: Unacceptable review times at Veer
« on: November 29, 2010, 11:02 »
I do see some sales.. but the pending review time is really too exaggerated, i thought all the review for 'dash for cash' should have been done?since we all got paid.

I want to push this sites, but all images are pending..what i can do?even my christmas images will be too late.

I hope at least veer can give some updates like how long the pending time, and what is their progress after 'dash for cash'..

http://www.viscoimages.com/spage/view/Visco-Images-pays-instant-cash-for-your-images

it seems they had updated the contents stating one can get paid $30-$50..

But I would like them to increase the instant cash, $0.15 is what they pay, and they are using levels on photographers, and the image has to be with them for one year.

I browse around and don't really see any downloads on most images, and i happened to see some images like showing woman private parts, and i remember the first time i visited the sites 2 months ago? i saw many images of same naked woman posing on rock or seaside. I didn't even think of joining after seeing those kind of images, i am not against who had posted it, but what kind of buyers they are looking for?

If they happened to close down in 1 year, do we get paid for the remaining even we didn't reach the payout?

« on: November 29, 2010, 05:58 »
i don't like the website layout, a good interface is needed. As a contributor you need to click a lot to get accessed your portfolio, stats..

anyone knows how to search within our own portfolio?

DepositPhotos / Re: Who has had sales at DepositPhotos?
« on: November 29, 2010, 04:39 »
actually i had complained that i got few sales was 'returned', it happened as 2 sales out of 3 sales i had in the beginning. Their explanation is it can be happened such as a illegal credits card. But the fact is the images had been downloaded.

I didn't encounter in all other websites, so i will just say either their payment system is not secured or just a high percentage of buyers with stolen cards..

oic, so u mean it is not a default 3d models from specified software?

I saw quite a few of variation, some with fingers or some are not.. that's why i thought it is from a software that you can just animate the dummy.

may want to try build something simple like that and learn about how to animate it..

« on: November 29, 2010, 02:13 »
Hi all, i notice there are a lot of 3d figure with big round head around all stock websites.

such as this one:
http://image.shutterstock.com/display_pic_with_logo/581500/581500,1288356044,1/stock-photo--d-small-people-parents-with-children-d-image-isolated-white-background-63979219.jpg

Do you know what software is used to generate it? they all look same so it looks like from a animation software..

I had tried to google but can't really see anything similars.

sorry if my questions is silly..so is it an agency that accepts footage from RED only? and RED is a kind of high end video camera?
