Since Ray has started a new thread for this let me chime in. I've been using this for a month or so now and it's a pretty cool app. Works with almost all my agencies and is fast and gives some pretty useful info in the form of monthly earning split (by agency) and daily earning.
Best of all is that Ray really responds quickly to problems or issues. Worth a shot

Got that mail too ... sharing it here for everyone else e are excited to share that our commercial licensing marketplace, 500px Prime, has been very successful, doubling in sales month over month. In line with our mission to empower photographers and curate a collection of inspiring, original and beautiful photographs, we are making some changes to the 500px Store. In order to harness 500px Prime's success and maximize commercial opportunities for our community we are focusing on royalty-free and rights managed photography licenses. On August 23, 2014, we will be saying farewell to 500px Art and personal downloads, effectively combining all of our commercial initiatives into 500px Prime. Buyers will be able to purchase a variety of license options and photographers will always earn 70% of the royalties for any photos licensed from 500px Prime, one of the highest royalties paid out in the industry. In preparation for these changes, we invite you to submit your photos to 500px Prime. This ensures that you continue to benefit from 500px's revenue opportunities. To help with this transition, photos currently available on your store will be visible to our Prime buyers. This will allow us to work directly with you and the buyer to complete the sale, even if the licensing forms have not been completed yet. We are here to help you with this transition. If you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected] We look forward to collaborating with you to cultivate 500px Prime as the leading premium photography marketplace! Thank you for your support, we are honoured to have you as part of our community! Barbara Ott Product Manager - 500px PrimeI think the only real change is that all the other avenues for selling licenses on 500px now get combined under prime. Sounds like a good move. Also I'm really happy that they are sticking to the 70% royalty agreement for all the sales.

The new line graph is pretty cool. Gives a more accurate picture of how good or bad the earnings are going

Will give the new version a shot. BTW is there a way to update the password for a stock agency incase you change it? maybe that will allow me to get into shutter stock
Either way, it's amazing how quickly you reply to problems

I'm another fairly new user at shutterstock, my experience has been mixed. Yes the sheer number of downloads is way higher than what I've seen at many other sites, but then most of them are going in the 25 a day plan so moneywise it's not that amazing (not complaining though). There have been some images that never sold on other agencies but have been sizzling at SS. However there are others that have barely sold and I doubt they will in the future either.

I think that one factor that most of us discount is that people now might be willing to use a lower quality image rather than pay a perceived exorbitant price for a good quality image. Let me explain, all the DPCs and subscriptions have taught people that images typically cost a few dollars at most. Now if Getty/Alamy/Stocksy offers you a high quality image for a couple of hundred dollars you might feel that it they are ripping you off, which would lead you to searching for and settling for a slightly lower quality image from SS or Fotolia.
I think the problem is that even we as photographers (or by proxy our agencies) can't really differentiate between what images go at what price. What image deserves a 100$ price and which is only worth a couple of cents. If that is the scenario then you really can't fault the buyer for finding the best deal.
Unpopular opinion I know, maybe I should put a penguin somewhere

Both file number and earning don't update? Did you upgrade to the latest version (V1.1.6 on Android)?
Yup, on the latest version. No both don't update. I think that without entering the captcha the app is unable to get access to the shutterstock information. However it is not prompting me to enter the captcha, so there is not much I can do. I even tried removing shutter stock and re adding it, and even uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. In both cases it simply used the already saved login and password information and did not ask me to re enter them. So that did not work

Ray, I've been facing a new problem over the last couple of days. Shutterstock will not update. Normally it would give the pen icon to Input the captcha and then update. However now it tries to update, fails and does not prompt me to enter the captcha
Any suggestions?

Seems to work well, the only issue I'm having is that 133rf won't login. It goes to 123rf login page and then immediately comes back to the app and tries to update.

Which is exactly the reason I'm posting here. Especially after one of our pro members used a sniffer and found a freeware that transmitted this info back to the developer

Ok, Shutterstock just handed me a very crazy review. A couple of images that I shot from a tripod at ISO 100 and f/11 have been rejected for noise and incorrect focus. I'm a little confused as to what more is required to get an image accepted there.
Is there a way to get them to revaluate these images?

And i made a mistake, i checked my Getty account and all the images there are RF (moment and moment open) just higher priced than the micros
