They look clean and fairly well lit in general, but appear to be mostly unremarkable photos of everyday animals - squirrels and birds and things. I guess they'd be good for illustrative use - "This is a bird" - but not much personality for other uses. You might want to provide a little more copyspace. They're all pretty tight compositions.

Just got my rejection yesterday.
I sent my application on november 2nd.
It took them more than 4 months...

if the articles about the hotel are journalism, then this is fair use. you can use any photo without paying and without permission in such a manner.

if the use is advertising (every journal has the same article) then it would be infringement.

I work on a cash basis. When the money gets into my account. So that's what I report. Which may not match the 1099 year to year, but in the end it all does.

She chose an image that backed her ( partly incorrect ) point. That's on her. It's still a valid image. I just did a shoot in September at our local elementary, and the classroom was just as you'd expect. https://www.stocksy.com/sjlocke/shoot/73902

Take a look at GL Stock Images. They are dead simple to use, lots of images, but unfortunately zero sales. Figure out where they went wrong and then fix those issues.
You need to provide the licensing terms before many will join.
We don't really know who you are. There's no info on the site.
The name kind of ties you in forever to that price point. Maybe not a good idea.

Yes, if they licensed the image and it is just a one off, it is likely within the terms.
Which licence allows this? According to my understanding of the Standard and EL someone can incorporate element into an artwork but not make an exact copy. It's not a one off as the chap is selling prints of the same painting. On an ethical level, this is offsides. He selling himself as an artist but has stolen someone elses creative talent.
Sorry, from what you initially said, it sounded like a someone was just displaying a painted version, which may not be against something like SS terms - "Falsely represent, expressly or by way of reasonable implication, that any Visual Content was created by you or a person other than the copyright holder(s) of that Visual Content.". Like if they were using it to advertise a show or something, would be fine. What you described now, definitely isn't fine.

I do both. Sometimes I trade and sometimes I pay. I will usually offer both when first contacting the owner or media person. Sometimes you can just tell what they'd be open to.
I tend not to use employees, especially if it is a professional location. Like I'll bring in people to play bartender or server or doctors.

Haha, but I mean in terms of image quality. Sharpness etc. I heard the MKII is sharper in the edges. Its a big difference in $$ but people say to get the MKII. However, seeing you are very successful with it, the MKI is probably not a bad choice.
Oh, nothing I've ever noticed, but I tend to shoot open, and so the sharp point is normally away from any edges.
