I think we are talking about scanning old books etc. and retouching and keywording images. Images that aren't necessarily available anywhere yet. Not just uploading some "ready" stuff.
Oh,ok. Now it make some more sense. At first I thought that it was just uploading a public domain image as you found it on the internet.

I know! But I don't see the point of downloading a public domain picture and putting it for sale on a micro/macrostock website.
Are buyers really interested in paying for images that they can find for free somewhere else?

DT, is simple uploading, no problem at all. I dont know where you are getting this from? The DT, reviewing is also very fair, they dont want similars, etc, which I can fully understand.
it's not "simple" uploading.... you have to choose categories and spend a few more clicks on useless checkboxes for each image (no bulk editing)...

I agree, Dreamstime has the more timeconsuming upload procedure of all the microstock agencies I sumbit to (I'm not an iStock contributor though), followed by Fotolia. Only Alamy is worse than Dreamstime, but it's not a microstock website

just be patient. I can't see any difference if my images are approved today or the day ofter tomorrow or next week, as long as they are reviewed and sell
