So trying to send a semi unified statement, by removing the traffic that we can control is a bad thing ? what if by some miracle enough unhappy contributer makes an effort, and it actually made an impact wouldn't that maybe make the other stock reconsider pulling the same lame greedy decisions?

Miz makes some excellent points. But I disagree with the conclusion.
I would say if you are a pro and honestly don't feel you can compete with the wannabe hobbyists then you aren't much of a pro and should probably think about getting out yourself

And its up again, and the 1400 sales last reported all gone, thought there might have been a few dollars despite the "glitch"but none zip nothing, think its time i pulled my port i seriously doubt that were being credited correctly.

There are so many of these sites its sad, even if you get the isp to shut down the hosting of a site they are back on line within a day or two with some other host, but what tickles my balls even more is to see ads from shutter stock and dreamstime etc. on these sites http://img5.imageshack.us/i/dreamstimeedited.jpg/

Most already have done something similar to what Istock just pulled off at a smaller scale perhaps, but its the future i guess if Istock can get away with it every agency can.

It's all about the designers, and if you guys really want to make a statement, it's going to have to be with buyers. Frankly, istock probably doesn't care if a few people delete their portfolios or stop uploading. If they are going to feel any impact from this, it'll have to come from buyers. If you're a designer and purchase stock images, look elsewhere from now on. If you know people who buy from istock, let them know what's going on and that they could actually save money AND support artists by taking their business elsewhere.
Hope more buyers will read and agree on this, there has got to be a limit to how greedy you can get without consequences.
