I'd have put money on Andrew not coming back *surprised face*

Now I'm faced with a very difficult decision - should I leave iStock altogether? I'm seriously considering leaving, but it will cost me a significant drop in income. I wish I knew what to do. I'm wondering how many of us independents will leave altogether - if most of us leave, will this harm iStock? Would they even care?
For me it was best to get out and forget about what the company used to be. The loss of income I suffered after RC was introduced was very difficult, I took a hit when I dropped exclusivity and now I'm earning $100s instead of $1000s per year so it's not going to hurt as much when I start deactivating more of my files. Think what I'm trying to say is they'll make the financial problem go away for you over time (if that makes sense). Good luck!

I think this new agreement is my last straw, I'm finally ready to unload my 200+ images from iStock, and my account from early 2003. Any suggestions where I can take them next—any miscrostock sites possessing an ounce of honesty or loyalty to contributors these days?

"the PNG, (portable network graphics) format. Its big advantage compared with JPEG: it supports an "alpha" channel that lets designers mark parts of the overall image as transparent."
thanks, but no need for an alpha channel: seeing from sales stats, all of my pictures there are already transparent and invisibile to buyers lately

ETA: Have you ever thought about how strange it is when you get the same number of dls per day? Always at least one? Or whatever your numbers are? Seems there should be much wider swings and variance. That also leads me to believe there's something funny going on with the numbers. I'm no mathematician, but the probability of getting such consistent sales on a daily, weekly, monthly basis seems kinda off to me. Right? Or am I the only one who's thinking this?

Good job we've got haters like you to keep us informed.
Eh? Without the eyes and ears of the MSG people we'd be much worse off. And if you contribute to microstock so would you.
I'm guessing that's a poor exclusive speaking Halfshag. Some of them are in a very uncomfortable place right now ... and it's probably becoming more uncomfortable with every month that passes. It can't be helping if Istock have reduced their marketing too.

My guess is there are many in the "in crowd" who aren't making their targets and this is a way to smooth the way for them.
