I thought, for the percentage they make when they sell one of my images, I mean that 85% they could hire some qualified people to manage the shop! With Istock being one of the lowest paying sites in the business and all these problens they have on the site I wonder how many of us will actually stay there. The PP sales were OK and the amount we received in november was a nice surprise. December sales were poor, compared to other sites and till today there isn't much happening in january too!
This is a great point. They take such a large slice that it isn't unreasonable for us to expect near perfection. Another good point is made is that we either take it or leave it, they really have the upper hand unfortunantly
In case all contributors all leave, all that remains is an empty site and they still have their overhead costs etc. It is about time they realize that WE are their income. The more images WE produce and upload on their site, the more money WE generate for them. After spending the most of november without any stats and no decent explanation for this, we not receive a belated X-mas gift: another "donation" to Istock because "something" was wrong in their calculations? C'mon: I only make a f%&*)ing 15% when I sell my images (I wonder if I ever reach 16%?) so their is 85% left for a) proffessional people, b) a compensation for the mistake. It wouldn't be more than "fair" if we share the difference. Afterall, we have to rely on Istocks honest system, we cannot influence sales, we cannot check the earnings, we cannot do anything except generate money, mainly for them. Any compensation given to the contributor will be considered as "costs". No problem for those overpaid accountants closing the books by now:) I feel like a sitting duck with a camera!

I see only the 7 first days of october, but on those days my PP sales are about two times what they usually are... I'm starting to suspect something is wrong... (I hope not, I'm certainly enjoying the money rolling in!)
I have the first 11 days reported: 99 PP sales.... Hope there is nothing wrong, my BME for PP sales so far:)

I found a big jump in my total earnings and noticed the PP sales over the first 4 days!! Stats still a mess, haven't seen any sales after october 25th... They are early with the PP sales this time but would like to have everything in order!

BigStock have been doing a lot of work to their image page layout lately. But I am baffled by one thing - How on earth does a buyer download an Extended License?
http://www.bigstockphoto.com/image-24923867/
Where is the option to choose an EL? There is a text link about "available as an EL" or similar, but it just takes you to the license agreement?
Am I missing something obvious? I haven't had an EL there in ages and now I'm wondering if this is why!!
After 4 years and a 2500 portfolio, I never had an EL at Bigstock!

As long as DT sells a TIFF as a 0.35 subscription there's no chance they will be in my top 4 tier!!

I got a couple 0.15 royalties this month. Am I going to have to drop another site?
Congratulations!!! I haven't got a sale there since march this year! Stopped uploading a couple of months ago, it isn't worth the time.

...There is a page where you can see individual files sold...
http://www.istockphoto.com/my_uploads_partner_program
That pages tells you all sales! A specific page with the amount made with partner sales would be helpful.
I had sales almost every day, exept aug 3rd, 10th, 25th, 30th, 31st.
What are you looking for? Did you try the greasemonkey script? If you want to see the total amount from the PP go to your graph and click monthly then hover over the green bar. The greasemonkey script will let you see all partner program sales for each file (actually just the last 20), it shows the date, site it was sold on, and amount.
Just did an (for me) amazing discovery: hoover over the green bar with the old fashioned mouse and it tells you the pp sales made that day. Without Greasemonkey!! Still feel that a simple statement with the total amount would be easier. To come to the total you have to do some serious accounting.

When you're in Stats, move back to last month and any green bars on last month's daily chart bars are your PP sales. There is a page where you can see individual files sold, but although I found it last week, I can't work out where it is now; presumably someone who is actually in the PP can tell you.
If you don't have any green bars, the $4 bump may have been due to an extended licence (Yellow bar, then check the left-hand My Uploads links) or an iS subscription sale from yesterday (or earlier, sometimes).
All correct^^
Just as a side note, for me, the stats on my profile page take an eternity to load, much less to load and then load again for the prior month. Lately I've been using this direct link and it seems to work better. www.istockphoto.com/user_stats.php?id=&Offset=0&DownloadsGraphFileType] www.istockphoto.com/user_stats.php?id=&Offset=0&DownloadsGraphFileType
I'll post this again. It's much easier if you use LiveStock 2, it's a free app that shows your latest GI and PP sales by date among other useful things. http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=80029&page=1 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.theasis.android.livestock2 You can also use the script by theasis to get a lot more functionality http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=352385
LiveStock 2, it's a free app -> And what if you do not have a smartphone yet. I know, I might be the only one here and I'm not even 50!!
Probably works for an ipad too. You can get the greasemonkey script which will give some extra information on PP sales.
Probably works for an ipad too: no Ipad either! I work on a laptop. Windows gal here!

Yes, me too have no sales after 19th. I think they are still processing.
Wow! Sounds very interesting! Was already happy with the amount I have so far!

Thanks!
Found it....moved back to august and saw loads of green. However, after august 19th there is not a single partner sale. Are they still processing these? Would have been beter if they just give you an amount instead of these colored bars.
Haven't found the individual sales page either.

I'm still getting a mix of different values, not just 28c.
Where do you see that? I know about this page about PP statistics http://www.istockphoto.com/user_stats.php But there is no detail of price.
Same question here, my total sales jumped up earlier today and I just checked and found some extra$$. It's not a sale I made today. IS isn't the best in statistics etc.

My sales didn't drop. Actually, they are pretty good but to me it looks like they changed their image acceptance policy.

As a regular Fotolia submitter I noticed that - all of a sudden - there must be something wrong with me. Since early september, most of my images got rejected because of technical problems. The weird thing is, they were accepted everywhere else. So nice of them to tell me there are Technical Problems. I can sort out myself which of these apply to my images. To make it less boring, a few were rejected because of quality issues. Only once a whole batch got accepted, which I knew when this reviewer is on duty again so I can submit my images then.
These are the familiair technical problems: Blurry or out of focus image Voluntary blurs need to bring added value to the subject/theme. Your photograph must be focused on the subject. When focusing on a small area, try a higher depth of field to avoid blurring.
Over/Under exposure
Cropping The subject matter or background has been cropped too tightly. -> I understand this one, but what if the whole subject was in the image?
Over or under saturated colors -> possible, but DT and IS liked the image enough to accept it
Inadequate contrast -> not according to 123, DT and IS
Noise or Pixelation Please verify your images at 100% zoom to review pixel quality. -> I did, and so did all the other agencies before they accepted them.
Interpolation problem Images must be in their original definition. Enlarging a picture in software is strictly forbidden. -? C'mon, only beginners make this mistake
Effects Problem Use special effects with caution (buyers generally prefer to add their own effects). -> no special effects used!
Size Problem Images must have a minimum definition of 4 MP, and a maximum definition of 50 MP-> My 18 megapix camera shoots images somewhere in the middle, so that's not the problem.
I guess it is just a random pick of images at Fotolia. Some images or subjects they like and whenever you submit that images form 15 different angles it will be accepted while other subjets or topics are just a standard rejection. This week, the images that are already selling elsewhere were rejected and a couple of images that were the poorer ones according to my standards got accepted....
Anyone else have the same experience lately?

can anyone translate this rejection?
"The Air Balloons category is too big compare to other categories. sorry for the rejection."
or
rejecting an editorial image for lack of model release?
All of their categories seem to be too big compared to the others, that's why they reject everything so the do not have any recent images.

a sale every coupla months - gave up on them long ago
Same here: hardly any sales and silly rejections reasons. Not worth spending time there.

With Canstock I don't know, but with Fotolia if you resubmit some day later generally it passes (it just depends what robot will review your image)
That's a good one! Two weeks ago I submitted 60 files, 45 of then were OK. One week later I submitted another 50. Same content, topics etc, just slightkly different and almost all of them had technical problems or qualiry issues all of a sudden. Another nice one: they do not specify WHAT problems or issues they have found!

File is too similar to other content that we already have online -> Canstock uses that rejection reason at random, while other files with simular images are accepted. Canstock is not the only one, Fotolia does it all the time.

what's going on at BS? I have 10 files pending review for 2 weeks! A lot of other agencies recently raised their upload limits (if they have them) but it seems that there is no chance to raise your upload limit at BS. I can submit 10 files at a time, since I screwed up my approval ratio in the early days of my career. My approval ratio over the last year is a lot higher and sales are increasing every month. Since it takes them 2 weeks to check my 10 file submission, I cannot expand my portfolio the way I want to. Anyone else with this problem?
