I have plenty above 1 dollar, however being in the UK and Adobe changing the currency i now receive at least a 25% loss overall due to Adobe.
i still have a difficult time understanding this. when you get a sale is it in $ or euro? if sale lists $, where's the loss? if sale shows euro, how does it compare to similar sale in $ for non-EU? and euro over dollar is only 10%
Im in UK and Adobe used to show the earnings in pound sterling and payments in pound sterling.....1 sales are now shown as 1 dollar sales so after conversion I receive about 75p as opposed to 1......about a 25% loss.... And it is a bit dodgy regarding Adobes work practice as Adobe charge customers in the UK in Pound Sterling but pay their contributors in dollars so Adobe must keep 25% of UK contributors money now......

In the UK, last year I received 5 per image, this year I only received 3.83.....Should really receive $6.36 per image if you live in the UK but I guess that is a selfish POV :-)

Has anyone had a payment adjustment on Bigstock? On the 'image earnings' page I have a payment adjustment of $26.64 (additional money not a subtraction) but only states payment adjustment with no explanation what it is for......

1) Since when is a 500k appartment (in whichever currency) an expensive appartment especially if it is in "a very rich part of the world" as you say it?
500k is an expensive house in most parts of the world never mind an apartment

I had 4 images with model releases rejected last week - image and photo on the release were taken within a week of each other but because the model had combed back hair in the release photo but not in the images, they were all rejected! Sorted itself out now by using a different photo on the release.....

Should be about time Adobe released a phone app for stock contributors similar to the shutterstock one. As well as seeing your sales, balance etc I find it very useful to see your images being approved or rejected - don't think I have ever used the website so see if any images have been rejected.

"temporarily suspend new content submissions on Bigstock as of June 30th, 2023" - Until when ? How do we know when to start re-submitting ?

Avoid HDR if you want less rejections

I have had a few rejection as the title had not (well to them anyway) described the photo well enough. Do find the model release rejections worse, i get rejections if the models hair style is different in the release to the submitted photo!

Whenever I have used AI software half the results are full of artifacts and would never be accepted. The next stage may wipe out stock agencies as customers will just use the simple software themselves to create images.

I would agree with the drone option, the majority of my sales are aerial views. I would say that you dont want a cheap drone, I have a mavic pro and even that the images are very soft at the corners and can range from very noisey to noisey, with keeping ISO at 100, also tend to only use F5.6 or F5.0.......DXO raw convertor does a good job at removing the noise.....I only use it for still images.

At the moment the exported files are too small to be accepted but once larger can can be produced i think alit of stock agencies will disappear due to customers subscribing to AI software instead of stock agencies, no need to stock agencies anymore.

Bit of a waste of time creating AI images until they can export files larger enough to be accepted by a stock agency

Until there is AI software which produces images large enough to upload to a stock agency there not much point to them

I haven't used it as 1024 pixels appears far too small to upload to a stock agency so not much point to it......

I had a look at the Mini 3 and Air 2S to replace my aging Mavic Pro 2 but decided on keeping the older tech but bigger sensor. Even the Mavic Pro 2 raw files have a fair amount of noise in the shadows - I find processing the raw files using DXO 6 and its noise reduction Deep Prime XD does an excellent job to make files look great free of noise (takes around 15mins to process per file on a 2020 macbook pro).
