i come back for this old thread about RM images usage..
What i understand we are still free to use our image that had licensed as RM, but do we have to state that the usage history of that image?
If i had an image that i used in my blog and had licensed it as RM, do i have to provide my blog usage as part of the history? thanks. Am i free to use my own images that had been licensed as non-exclusive RM?

the 100% sale will be shown under 'comments', right?
I had one sale, but not sure is it 100% royalty, but there is a message under 'comments' with that file thumbnails.

u mean the photographers get paid between 100 and 150 for a set of related photos?

my files are still pending for quite some times, do we have to generate thumbnails for the ftp transfer option too?
are contributors able to delete own files anytime?

Hi all,
I know shutterstock will have a rejection about not choosing 'illustration/clip-art'..
does it mean the 'categories'? or I just need to tick the 'illustration/clip-art' option box?
thank you.

so it sounds that the rendering results will be same without additional graphic card, just the time is longer?
does 3ds max run on a mac computer? i saw their faq saying one can install it on a Windows system partition, with boot camp of a mac. Does it run slower?

Hi all, i am thinking of getting a laptop for everyday use. I notice that some laptop are with no graphic card? or it means the graphic card is integrated with motherboard?
so far i had no problem to do things like photoshop and illustrator on laptop with 2G ram, but for rendering, do i need to get a good graphic card to render a better jpg images? is there a difference of using a common laptop and a laptop with a good graphic card?
thanks.

http://wp.me/pPDGb-2lcheck out the link, as i have sorted agencies that pay in US and EURO.. i got a few sales in panthermedia but all are subscription downloads that in cents, and you need to 'pay' 20 cents or 30 cents when u registered account, so called to verify your paypal, none of the agencies are doing so. the uploading of panthermedia is not user friendly and also the interface is badly designed. maybe zoonar is the one who worth to try, since they recently got in some more partners, but my sales in zoonar is also kind of low. basically if your portfolio is just little, basically just focus on top tier website..

many people are surprised with shutterstock, because it is the only agency that guarantee you will get a few sales the moments you are accept.
I started with dreamstime and the rest, and just a few days, it had overtaken those sites.
since shutterstock is with 25 downloads a day, and there is no downloads count, almost every newly uploaded files got a chance as long as it is useful for designers.

hi do a search thread here, there is a script written by a user 'plrang' here, i am using google chrome, and when i moved the cursor over the images i can see how many sales that images had sold and how many on-demands, what is the RPD..how many days it had online. Map is novel and interesting but I don't see much real use except for bragging about that sale in Vladivostok. I do confess to feeling rather godlike in seeing my work zipping around the world.
I don't get any more info by mousing over the small circle on the image. Better idea for the space: 1. A running total of sales of those new downloads along with their number of sales per month.
The overall earnings is helpful, showing my sales performance over time.
The earnings from New Content: Nice useful idea showing productivity of my latest work. I'd add pictures of, say, 5 of my hottest selling images from that graph.
And please, SS, make it easy to find out how much each of my images are selling. I want to sort my images quickly by date, total sales, and downloads per month. The current method is too time to be of value.
Did I mention that the most useful single tool in microstock is IS's Downloads per Month calculation.

the thumbnails requirements is something they should remove it, or make a thumbnail generation system like some website do.

so the average sales price is around 10 Euro? all i got is the subscription downloads which few cents, do u mean there is a way to opt out? thanks. Well, click on my portfolio- link below of any of the other agencies, I do not really have a link for my portfolio at PM. At least I cannot find an option where you can show your portfolio on panthermedia.
It is mostly the same, what sells good at the micros sells good at PM.
I have about:
80 sales of nature images: penguins mostly, polar bears, icebergs (also the biggest section of my portfolio)
I have very few images with people (under 10 I think) and one of them sold 3 times (woman with laptop)
less than 5 images of helicopters 3-4 sales
Maybe 20 food and drink images, got 6 sales in this area.
Total portfolio size: 260 images 6000 views in the stock agency 106 sales
For me the average sales price was once between 15-20 Euro as far as I remember, but lately that has gone down to I guess ~10 Euro or lower.

nice site, and your portfolio is big and strong enough to get buyers. would you mind to share how much it may cost to set up the site like these? i saw the ktools photostore is US249, so it is a one time payment? the rest of basic cost is monthly server fee? Great thread and congrats to all the people building a store for their own work. Here's mine using Ktools:

so are these 2 company related? It doesn't sound good. Still not sure of this site, considering their relation to the pirate site DepositFiles. Just seems strange that DepositPhotos is selling stock images, while an affiliated company (DepositFiles) enables pirates to illegally share and distribute our stock images. Not exactly the sort of companies I'd want to jump in bed with.

DP seems very low traffic? low views and low sales and all the sales i got is 0.30. I try to check out the commission faq.. http://submit.depositphotos.com/pages/seller-priceIf you're a photographer or an illustrator looking to make money on your work, you've come to the right place. DepositPhotos.com is the internet's highest paying photostock website you'll find! why they claim they are the highest paying photostock website? while every sale is 0.30..once a while.

i notice that there are some 3 and 5 credits vector, but the download number is much lower.
and many 1 credits vector is not a simple vector at all.
anyway, what i know is the buyer only need to buy minimum 20 credits. That's mean 20 vectors at one time?
do they accept simple vector? i got some rejections when i tried to pass their exams because of the vector is not meeting their expectations.

Hi all,
anyone had experienced with vectorstock?
There is an old thread but would like to get some recent feedback.
I read the FAQ even the vector should price with complexity, but it seems mostly vector are 1 credits. For new contributors, it is 25% so u got like $0.25..
do u get something more than $0.25 often (like extended license)?
thanks.
