It appears that you lack experience in capturing and post-processing time-lapse sequences using RAW photos.
If you had engaged in such activities, you would be aware of the substantial data volumes involved, often reaching 100 GB.
That's not the point.
There is no point in doing anything at all on such a small sensor that you have and that is in other phones. It's a waste of time.
If for time-lapse you can somehow argue for shooting in raw, then for video there is LOG, which takes up little space and allows you to improve the dynamic range (for 10-bit video).
I listened to many professionals who compared log with RAW, but for themselves they saw no point in shooting in RAW. TV studios may shoot in raw, but not on smartphones.
Therefore, this application of yours is useless. Better install an application that will allow you to shoot in LOG.
But if you still shoot in RAW on your phone, post a test somewhere, the video was shot in RAW and in LOG. I'm sure no one will see the difference if the color correction is correct.

Do you know how shot to LOG correctly? Do you record your videos in a log?

In the case of the S24U, the main camera sensor is 1/1.3 inches in size.
::) ::) ::)

953
It is true that the files are large (>10 GB for 30 seconds)
::) ::) ::)
I'm sure there are few people who would be interested in this. Usually smart people just play with LOG.

954
Fact: S24 Ultra is able to output 10-bit video, even with the stock camera app.

Is your phone's sensor 1/1.3? Good luck in shooting raw video.  ;D

To begin with, at least try LOG.

Place a screenshot from MediaInfo here that your video from your phone is 10 bits.

The primary concern with stock camera applications is their tendency to excessively process and compress both photographs and videos captured using them.
The Blackmagic Camera application writes everything normally, it can also write in H.265. Bitrate is normal.
There are other applications too.
I have no complaints about the main smartphone application, because a smartphone is a small sensor and, at best, has 8 bits. Trying to squeeze super quality out of a phone is ridiculous.

Regardless of the hardware used (be it a phone or a professional camera), lossless RAW videos are superior to standard H.264 videos (and even superior to lossy 10-bit log videos) in the same way lossless RAW photos are superior to lossy JPEGs: because they encompass the entire dynamic range of the sensor (10-bits depth on the phone), without discarding any information.
Where have you seen phones with a 10-bit sensor? What is the sensor size on your phone? How many bits?
There is such a thing as sufficient quality. So, for most professionals, log videos are enough. Shooting raw has certain advantages, but not everyone needs them.

For your analysis, see below a separate comparison utilizing a Panasonic camera:

100% lie there.

One more thing: the app has also the capability to produce 10-bit HLG HDR, 10-bit LOG, and even encode 10-bit ProRes files, addressing concerns regarding the excessive storage requirements of RAW video.
We have already discussed this before. You didn't like the idea of converting 8 bit video to 10 bit prores. Now I see you don't mind converting any low quality to prores.  ;D
The iPhone records in Apple Log. If you feel like messing around with 8-bit video in Apple Log, you can give it a try. But I see the point in Log only on 10-bit sensors and no lower. Shooting in raw on your phone is a complete perversion.
Its better to install a normal application and record videos with normal bitrates.

I do not need it.
At best, you can choose 1 or 2 images in your model. On average, everything it shows is not suitable. Therefore, your model should display not 10 images, but much more. That's why I'm telling you that you should connect to the search results on shutterstock. In general, the way your model works does not suit me.

again with the "model", it doesn't mean what you think it means
you don't have to use it, please don't
So remove this topic from this forum. Your model will not suit stockers.

It is able to shoot full sensor (4080 x 3060) 60fps RAW videos on my S24 Ultra, with all 4 lenses, without dropping any frames.
It is true that the files are large (>10 GB for 30 seconds),
::) ::) ::)

1. DCI 4K is 4096x2160. Therefore, 4080 is not enough.
2. 10 GB in 30 seconds, are you kidding me? Is someone paying you to advertise this application?
Buy yourself a Panasonic camera, it records video in RAW format and has a 10-bit sensor, and is inexpensive. How many bits are there in your sensor on your phone? And what is the size of your phone's sensor?
Have you tried writing v-log, s-log to your cameras? This is enough to achieve extended dynamic range. I saw experiments of people who compared v-log with RAW, they did not see a strong difference.
You are a strange person, Zero Talent, who would even write raw video on a weak phone sensor? Yes, theres no point in writing even a v-log for an 8-bit sensor.
Those videos on YouTube are complete nonsense.

1. The video you are talking about has a very low bitrate and size, which means it is only suitable for web viewing. This is not the original quality video uploaded by the author.
2. If a person wants to steal a video, there are many torrent sites where you can download many videos for free.
3. There are many sites where you can download unlimited videos for $16 a month.
4. In order to legally use of a video, people want proof of purchase, they want to have proof that they bought it. That's why people pay money.

AI generated keywords are not great, saving time on meta data is the wrong way to go...

I've tested AI generated keywords with around 1000 images before developing a custom solution that is way better (based on real stock sites keywords data)
you should try it:
https://upstock.guru/keyword_checker

Just make sure the titles contain the top keywords you generate for best results.
I didn't like your tool. It offers very few images when searching, the actual ones are always not what Im looking for, and the tags are very weak. Its better to search for images on stock sites yourself, copy tags from there, and then create a general list.
You need to refine your model. Need more pictures. Focus on shutterstock and display top images or videos from this site. I should be able to select not 2 pictures, but 5 or 10. Therefore, you should display both 20 and 50 pictures.

961
i've stared using ChatGPT for keywording with great results - it gives many relevant tags i wouldn't have thought of. I enter my image description, then edit the results
I use ChatGPT only for bad content, when its a shame to throw it away and can be upload. ChatGPT tags are always bad, but better than nothing.

962
But if an all-in-one solution for texts, images, videos, coding, etc. will be placed on the market for perhaps 49 or 79 USD/month, which is on every content type at the same level or above like Midjourney or Stable Diffusion for image generation, then you can think twice about whether someone will still buy a subscription with the agencies.

The key word here is if

Will New AI Video Tool Sora Kill Microstock? When Will Sora Release and Be Available?

As soon as users start using them en masse and can generate almost free content for their needs in real time with easy prompts, no one will want anymore trawling through millions of generic videos in agencies libraries if they don't adopt their own AI assistants.
And spaceships will fly to Mars and other galaxies! Everything will be that way!  ;D

All these technologies are not made so that people can use them for free. The buyer will have to pay money either for cloud power or for a powerful PC, and all this will cost money. Therefore, anyone who is not a fool will go to the subscription stocks, pay $16 a month for a subscription, and download everything he needs.

966
Do you really believe that users will then still buy generic videos of for example moving waves at the beach during a sunset for 50 bucks and have to search a matching one for their needs when they can generate this content by prompting "create a blog article of travel tips to the maledives and generate a matching video".
Yes, that's exactly how it will be. I dont know about $50, but now most buyers buy videos on subscription services. There they will buy by subscription in 3 years, 5 and 10 years.

967
I can therefore imagine that in 3 years the AI videos will have high quality.
Yeah, and any buyer will have a PC (probably worth $1000 and no more) to quickly generate such a video. Probably the generation time will be several seconds, maximum minutes.
It's all fantasy. It will be easier, cheaper and faster to shoot or buy a video than to generate it.
Even now you can use cloud computing power, but it costs money. Its cheaper to buy a ready-made video, which is what buyers do.

968
Most of the Sora videos look odd to me. Things are moving fast though, so only a matter of time until they improve it to a point where it will be a serious competitor to stock video. I can't remember who was saying they had no concerns about a year ago, I'm guessing they might've changed their mind about that now?
I haven't changed my mind. This is how powerful your computer will need to be to generate video created by artificial intelligence in normal quality. I'm not even talking about 4K and good codecs with high bitrates. I dont think buyers have such computers (most certainly dont).

969
DepositPhotos won't disappear.

How's the sales on DepositPhotos compared to Shutterstock?
30-40%.

DepositPhotos won't disappear.

971
Is there a demand for such a video?

972
I think the buyer himself doesnt know exactly what kind of video he needs. He searches for different videos using several tags and looks at what ideas are implemented. Then he buys the video he needs. The buyer cannot be the creator of the video; few people can do this. To do this you need to have imagination, know and understand a lot.

This is true up to this point. But when Sora goes live I'm thinking buyers may search the stock sites for what they would like in a project and then prompt it to fit exactly what they need (so bypassing our clips). Up until now they download content that just about fits their needs, but imagine if they could get the general idea from us (off the stock sites) and make it their own using Sora, and possibly change the video generation a bit to be perfect for the project. I'm sure us content creators could use Sora to create unthinkably amazing clips. But I'm worried that this would be easily copyable. I'm not sure what to make of it all. All I know is that AI Video is the worst it will be right now. Give it another year and wow, everything's changed.
This all sounds too complicated. I think that working with Sora will not be easy, even if you know what you want to get from it. I think you will need to learn different commands and know a lot of things. To create videos in Sora, even us authors will need to spend time. Also, working in Sora may be paid. Yes, some buyers may be trying to create something there, but there wont be many of them. Also remember that this Sora is unlikely to be able to create realistic video. This means this video will be specific and for specific purposes.
But we sellers need to think about whether we need to work with Sora. And will stocks accept such a video?

How much does a subscription cost? And when will stocks allow you to upload videos created by this Sora?
I think this is a tool not for buyers, but for us sellers.

How much text do you need to write there to get a normal video?

General - Stock Video / Re: Freepik Wants My Videos For A Price
« on: February 16, 2024, 13:15 »
Many are talking about buyers, and saying that they don't have time to check all websites.

But the website mentioned is here wants to purchase them to offer them for free, and their subscription plans have unlimited number of files for less price.
What about thieves who download those free files, or subscribe them for less price to download all files and sell them on other websites?
We noticed many posts, even someone recently posted that half of his portfolio stolen and uploaded to Shutterstock by a thief.

Where those thieves getting those files? Do they pay and download for higher prices on some websites ? or they download for free or pay very less to download unlimited files from websites like these?
Thieves are a problem for stock agencies. Usually such accounts do not last long.
