Shutterstock.com / Foreign text in images?

How am I supposed to translate foreign text in images (eg Japanese) if I am not allowed to put foreign text in the title? Do I just put in the translation? Do I put it in the editor's notes? Anyone with experience on this?

Do you guys keep the minimum payout at $35, or do you set your own minimum payout? Is there an advantage to this, such as less fees from paypal?

Shutterstock.com / Portfolio restored, but earnings all gone

The earnings on my contributor page has been reset to zero. It still shows up correctly in the total earnings section on the monthly spreadsheet. I have never paid out before. Anyone experiencing anything like this?

Has anyone else experienced this issue. It seems like instagram has blocked my account for putting in my shutterstock portfolio link in my bio. I have not yet recieved a reply from ig, but for those of you out there, beware!

update: when logging in from the web version, it seems like this is a part of an "automated spam block."

How exactly do people who download from shutterstock download images without using keywords? I've been browsing the "image gallery stats" on shutterstock and found that most of my downloads had no downloads per keyword. How does this work, or is it some kind of error?

Does anyone have any tips on how they keyword the images in alamy? I have quite a lot of images that have been approved by QC, but the thought of having to manually put the keywords into three different categories for each individual image is very discouraging. How do you guys deal with this workflow?

What do you think of my portfolio? Started a exactly a year ago, but got serious about it during december. Mostly flowers/travel images right now, but I'm planning to put in some more "conceptual" images.

My fotolia portfolio has exactly the same images, but I have not managed to get any sales at all. Any advice on that?
