Hello,

Do you think Adobe will change their editorial policy and start image exclusive program? After shutterstock's fiasco I have been waiting for such a move from Adobe but they have been silent.

What do you think? Would you go exclusive with Adobe?

General Stock Discussion / Subjective Keywords
« on: December 26, 2018, 17:10 »
Hello,

I have seen many people using subjective adjectives as keywords.

Since i have been working on vector backgrounds lately, I would like to hear your opinions on subjective keywords especially using for backgrounds like "cool", "beautiful", "stylish", "creative" etc.

Do we have any data these keywords are used in searches a lot? What is your practice on using them? Do you think using them might be considered spam?

Hello,

I have seen many people selling images of places (Louvre Museum, Eiffel Tower night shots etc.) as posters, framed prints so on, while they can only be sold under editorial license at stock photo agencies.

Can someone clarify if it is ok to sell those images as products at POD sites?

iStockPhoto.com / How to upload editorial videos on ESP?
« on: October 01, 2016, 17:08 »
Hello,

I am sorry if this was discussed before.

Is it possible to submit editorial rf videos on ESP? I watched all the training videos and looked for an option for editorial on the site. But I couldn't see anything for editorial rf videos.

Can someone tell how to do that?

Thanks in advance :)

Software / Mpeg Streamclip Help
« on: August 03, 2016, 15:12 »
Hello everyone,

I have a problem with converting movies with photo jpeg codec by using mpeg stream clip..

Selecting "export to quick time" and "apple photo jpeg" codec creates a output three times bigger than the original movie size. I am attaching a screenshot of this.

When i select "export to other format" then select "quicktime movie" then select photo jpeg codec creates an output as big as the original movie size. I am also attaching a screenshot of this.

Converting with h.264 works fine. I get small size converted movies. Bu i haven't managed to get small size movies with photo jpeg codec with mpeg stream clip.

Is there anyone who knows what i am doing wrong? Any suggestions?

How important do you guys think to rank keywords when submitting to istock since checking the keywords' meanings take some time already?

Newbie Discussion / Review time on 123rf
« on: March 09, 2016, 06:45 »
Is it me or 123f is really slow on reviewing? It's been for more than 2 weeks that my images have been waiting for review. Shutterstock is really fast on that. How is your experience with 123f and others?

Newbie Discussion / I need a vision
« on: March 06, 2016, 18:31 »
hello,

A month a go i sent 10 of my photos taken by iphone to gettyimages and they invited me to istock. The story starts there :)

I don't consider myself as a photographer. I am graphic designer and i believe i have a good eye on photography. So i wanted to try the stock agencies to have my photos used by people around the world and make some extra cash. When i got an invitation from istock, I tried my chances at shutterstock, fotolia, dreamstime and 123 rf.. All accepted. Mostly iPhone photos :) Alamy and depositphotos are the ones rejected my images.

I have around 150 photos and graphic design works at my portfolio at the moment. I know that is really little comparison to most of yours :)

Even if i have a full time job that i love and uploading, key-wording take really good amount of time, i decided to keep doing this. I am even getting my first dslr this week. Technically there is no chance to go further with iPhone :) Sorry apple!

So my question is what road you guys think i should take?. I don t want to take another picture of million ones already there. I really love street and nature photography. Do editorial pictures work in stock photography world? If so i would really take my chance there. What do you think What part of nature photography is less taken?

I would really appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks in advance :)

PS: I am attaching some photos that made me accepted to the agencies in case of curiosity.
