My last submission was on 31st January which got approved on 14Feb, that is around 2 weeks for me. I have again submitted on 14Feb and waiting now, not sure about the current status of review time.
If the time has exceeded 3 weeks, its better to contact support via email, or as shutterstock support says delete the files and reupload them (which is the worst thing to do as you have to again wait for another 2weeks)

You can upload any number of images/vector, but in content editor it will show you only first 40 images once you submit those 40 you will find next 40 images which you can again submit.

Have some christmas pictures that I have edited and keyworded was just a little slow with getting them up and online. Should I go ahead and upload these images now or should I just can them and instead upload them for next year? I'm curious how this would do with image sales, will they actually sell during the year or would it be best to have them setup and fresh "new" uploads during the next christmas season?
I will say that upload them now next year. I uploaded 200 vectors of christmas and new year on 11 december which got online on 27th Dec. (Christmas gone and new year very close), my sales suddenly dropped down a lot due to late approval time. This is the first time for me that shutterstock took so much time for approval. I was expecting for good sale in december but due to this issue everything went down. So I will recommend you to upload the files next year now.

Even I don't understand the returned sale concept.... Recently in december I got 9 files returned in which amount deducted were as follows: 6 Files returned at price of -3.91 1 File returned at price of -4.60 2 Files returned at price of -0.26 on total there are 59 files in my returned sale page till now. Its so sad that most of the images downloaded in DP goes only in subscription sale and on top of that you get lot of returned sale. Some serious step should be there regarding it.

I don't like the process of uploading in graphicriver, its too complicated if you have big portfolio... Knows anyone how to upload vectors to GraphicRiver by FTP?
With FTP, connect to graphicriver account then simply upload your 80X80px file, zip file and your preview file. Now in GraphicRiver website in upload section you will find your uploaded file in it. After that proceed with Description, Attach all the files, choose categories add your tags and done..

This is second mont in a row when my account starts with negative balance at SS. Last month started with about Minus -6.xx$. This month my acc started with MINUS -9.89$. And there is nothing at delayed earnings page.
- 9.89$ thats strange.. was there any returned sale or what??? or is that a bug Its working fine for me...

No, no one actually saves a files in this form. Its a bug in Adobe Illustrator which I also face many a times. You apply a normal radial gradient and after saving the file in eps10 when you again open that file it breaks the gradient in many parts. Getting these types of gradient is not good as it makes your file lot heavier and un-editable.

Nothing to be negative about. Telling about yuri or other who went for sole business, I will always say that talent is endless. You can still find many top class contributors who are still working seriously with this business.
Yes there is some worry around contributors due to less sales this month but this doesn't means its ending.

hi guys,
anyone is using blender? i am trying out.. i had made a object as a file..and I had made a studio backdrop as another file.
I want to put the object on the studio backdrop, but I can't find the way to do it, google it suggesting to use 'append'..and i browse to the mesh object and click..but it is not showing in the environment of the backdrop file..
if anyone is learning to use blender..maybe can discuss here as a learning thread..
I have however not used blender, but I have worked in many 3d programs. I would suggest you to export one file in .obj format and then again import it in the another file which you have created. I hope this should work. Also there would surely be any option to import blender file in anther blender file. Would recommend you to read the help file of the blender for more info.

I had sale around 9days back of 1$ .... Now they seem all of a sudden to be rejecting heaps of batches, for no reason other than "we do not need this image.".
Anyone else finding the same weirdness?
Yes rejecting rate has increased here too.. not uploading from many days(or months) now

oh no.. I found one of image which was viewed 12531 and times 1138 downloaded. I mean 1138 times download , if that were legally bought then I could have earned few $$ I was browsing through the site and found few of them are legit but many of them link to illegal network. I personally nowhere uploaded my work for free.... Also it seems to be very popular site too as the Alexa rank is 3,517 with around Daily Pageviews of 312766 and company itself is saying 22,302,253 free files downloaded.... strangee These are causing huge losses to the industry. And such search engines also should be banned for linking to illegal sites for free downloads.

use winzip or winrar or even you can use Windows zipping option.
All you need is to create same name zip. Like you have sample.eps and sample.jpg add both the files on a zip and name that file as sample.zip and you are done
