Image Sleuth / Re: copiright infringment on freepik.com
« on: December 15, 2017, 10:29 »
I've asked freepik to remove my image and they have done it almost immediately.
I've "notified" them that the entire portfolio is full of stolen images, and asked to keep it off line, following the reply:

"Hi Federico,

Yes, we are going to close his account as soon as possible.
Thanks for your collaboration.

Best regards"

after two days the portfolio is still on-line... I'm starting to think that there is the collaboration of some BIG agency, that use this portfolio as a teaser to sell subscriptions ....
Hope I'm wrong

so do you think is a responsibility of the agency and not of this contributor (skadyfernix)?
I'll report to shutterstock, thanx

« on: July 26, 2017, 02:39 »
There are several of mine. Will report it to ss when i get home.

EDIT.
I just filed a complaint with DT. SS is next.

Some new thief with 300 vegetable isolations, faked model releases and they will soon be gone. I doubt that this one will get many downloads and the agency doesn't profit for a few misguided people. Account closed. If you have an image in this group, it means your work is outstanding.

Pick your best seller from the group, don't say what it is. How many DLs do you get a month on that image? The thief won't beat you in the search or sales, but how many do you estimate you lost on this one month crook? I always wonder how these people have no morals and think they can make payout when we find them and they are closed down.

But how much do you lose on one of these one month idiots?

" I doubt that this one will get many downloads "

according to dreamstime following his sales... not so bad for a stolen portfolio

Uploaded files:403
Total sales:7,427

I'm wrong, I never imagined that these creeps could make that many sales in such a short time when we can't? I'd never defend them and I hope they don't make a cent. The agencies don't like this either because they want us to make that money.

I think it depends to the fact that the major part of the stolen portfolio is marked as exclusive on DT, so their search engine push the stolen images up in search results. I agree with you... most of them are creep  ;D

his portfolio on DT is exclusive, this probably explain why DT think that he has the rights. DT must be aware that the same images are on other sites too

Everyone who has anything he stole, file a complaint. Shut this down.

Anyway, great portfolio. Congratulations.

used last time 27th of april with a new model and they accepted it

10
this is the point, they declare to not cut the contributor royalties..... but they do it

Quote from above:

The question is: Why we don't get standard royalties if DT "fully supports the discount"?

Anybody?

11
they want back $66.42 from me
the only thing that was going 'quite' well on IS was the partner program. now I understed why....
probably it was done on purpose to limit the escape of contributors from IS, giving them for some months false numbers and motivation to stay

dowloads are back

I am able to see the views and downloads for my images using the 'Manage My Files' link. But when I click 'My Portfolio', that information is no longer displayed.

I also checked the best selling images and could not see the views/DLs information. Perhaps, they dont want the buyer to be biased for or against a best or a non-selling image.
I think it's a pity for buyers, but not a bad news for contributors with hard selling images

How did you get that observed?

try to preview an image

it seems that fotolia loose informations of views and downoads on the images, don't know if it's a bug or a new 'feature' of the site (like many other agencies already hide those informations)

16
I think it's not fair at all... but we are used to this kind things from IS

They did a similar thing with vehicles a while back if I remember correctly.

the same with green tractors and green agricultural machinery, because the green is associated to "john deere" brand. they don't accept anymore but have the catalog full of them.

I'm surprised for all the month of august on SS. Lot of SD, than in some case are much better than EL (the best one is 75$).
Surprisingly this august is my BME on SS

I'm trying to convince every photo buyer I know to buy elsewhere... do the same and let IS know your disappointment.
Dear IS, advertising is expensive, and loosing customers thanx to your behavior with contributors is a suicide.
