Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Tax Form link is broken
« on: December 28, 2022, 19:44 »
Thanks for the answers Jo Ann and Mat.

I filled out a new document today, and after doing that the link on https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/dk/account#tax-info change to the link that Jo Ann wrote.

I just needed to see how I had filled out the previous form, before I filled out the new. As I couldn't find the old one I just filled out, the new, after my best knowledge, and are now crossing my fingers for it to be right 😀

Adobe Stock / Adobe Tax Form link is broken
« on: December 28, 2022, 09:45 »
I'm sorry to bore everybody with a tax form question. But the link to my Tax Form on adobe is broken. It is saved on an old Fotolia url, which is now dead: https://eu.fotolia.com/Member/TaxCenter/TaxForm/W8BEN/xxxxxx

Has anybody had the same problem? - and solved it?

Regards
Niels

I just started and would also like some sites to add and be added so.
If you're interested we can connect.

you can find me at http://danishstockphoto.lk5.dk. I have a portfolio of around 700 images, but right now only around 100 online.

Thankyou for all the answers. I'm beginning to understand.

@Cascoly: Just to make sure. Can i just pick some sites, that is similar to mine and put their URLs in my empty slots.

Do I have to download the symbiocard of my chosen networksites and upload iit to my site, or will this eventually happen by itself?

OK that was about what I've figured out.

I am sure there is some logic explanation to this, but why don't I network with everybody? That way the costumers only have to enter one of us and start the search from there.

First issue

There is something I can't figure out, even though I've been reading a lot, and it might be my lack in the english language  ;)

I have a site http://danishstockphoto.lk5.dk where I have filled out all - or nearly all - according to the "Symbio Getting Started Guide", and my site also have found its way to the "Cascoly Symbiostock Network List" - so far so good.

At this point I can search and find my own images from http://cascoly.com/symbio/symbiostock-network.asp

If I go to a fellow Symbiostockers homepage and search, I can't find my own images - is that because I haven't connected with the site?

Next issue

I'm sure I've figured out about downloading the Symbiocard, and sending and recieving, but what is the common way to get in touch?

Do I just write to a person and ask if we should connect?

Regards

PS: I have a portfolio around 700 but stopped at around 100 to figure out the basics

Thanks for all answers.

@Kerioak~Christine: I found the Large images, but on my installation they are at wp-content/symbiostock_rf instead of wp-content/uploads/symbiostock_rf. Maybe the directory has been moved in a newer installation.

You are right about the EULA, and I read a thread about the diferencies in EULAS from site to site, and some wanting a common one for everybody for the costumers not to be confused. Do you know if there is a draft or anything to use - being a dane does make it a bit harder to write the legal stuff. : )

@steheap: I agree on your thoughts, but the thing is that it is prestated on the download page, that the Large image is in 300 dpi - while the three smaller is in 72 dpi - so even though it doesn't make any difference a costumer will expect to get an image in 300 dpi.

First of all, what a fantastic idea and what a fantastic program/theme.

I've been setting up a small shop made in Joomla, but yesterday I closed it and made one in Symbiostock instead. Everything is going great, but then I have a couple of issues with the Large filesize.

1. I have always uploaded my photos with 240 dpi, and then the sites have scaled them after their needs. Does this mean I have to redevelop all my photos to meet the 300 dpi in Symbiostock - or is there a smarter way to do it?

2. When I make a test buy of a Large photo and download it, it will have .html in the end of the filename: for instance 22-large.jpg.html. If i remove .html, the file is fine?

3. I read in a post at this site, that the files is sitting at wp-content/uploads/symbiostock_rf_content, but that only seems to be the microphoto and the watermark photo. Where is the Larger photo?

My site is at http://danishstockphoto.lk5.dk and I am looking forward to just start uploading - and renaming  : ) - all my photos. I believe this is gonna be huge.

Thanks a lot for this opportunity.
