« on: June 29, 2017, 03:45 »
Hello! We are quite big studio and have around 50k+ images on 123, however it seems that since last year we are keeping falling down on income, like around 40% less, than same months of last year. Anyone with big volume can support me with his statistics? it feels really bad.

MicrostockSubmitter / Re: Updates
« on: June 27, 2017, 01:50 »
Alamy submission doesn't work for weeks. I'm confused, as the status report in Stocksubmitter usually says "OK", for other userts had succesful submission. I always get "Unknown authentication error"

They have added the captcha for the authentication process. The program is now updated to support it so just restart the program and it should work.

seems it does not work still. waited few days already. I did also tryed to launch alamy and pond5 in incognito mode, to write capcha there, however it still asks for it in stocksubmitter. And you really cant do anything there, i was signed up the captcha with alamy, and 3 seconds later it pops up again, like please login and write captcha. Annoying, please check.

And what is up with updates? it says that there is 1 update ready to be installed, no matter what how many times i launch program, like i launch it, update it > close it and re-open - same thing, it says there is update, but nothing changes. Everything is started up with administration rights, first time this issue

Where to vote for adding support to certain agencies? Still looking forward of panthermedia support, german stock seems going pretty ok for us, but really wana kill my self with uploading everything manually there, the manual submitting interface there is similar to alamy, which is annoying as hell, when you have to upload like 30k images there.

Not sure, really enjoy new silver look tho (reworked). It looks more updated, more renewed, which is good. Can you make status icons bigger? I mean, the scale is setted up to the max already, but icons are kinda small still, compared to " smileys ", which are way bigger and more easy to notice

Big issue so far:

When starting up deepmeta, often all my batches and files are gone (place is blank and empty), i can repeat closing software and opening it again, and randomly they appear and disappear again. I cant upload anything due that, is really annoying. Sometimes i launch it, and batches are there, but files are not, Next time it is otherway, but most of the time everything is empty, like nothing is there, and whenever i create new batch it looks like its only one there, but after closing the software once again, everything is gone.

Bugs and tips found so far:

1). after updating from 3.0.2 to 3.0.3 all my batches and files disappeared, however if i click on batches menu, it says all old ones i had, but they are just invisible/disappeared
2). please bring back the arrow buttons combo to work: i usually did ctrl+c > ctrl+v next file and arrow button down to next file, and repeat. but now after i do ctrl+v and save, arrow buttons does not work anymore, and i need manually re-click with mouse once again. slightly frustrating
3). adding new keyword, sometimes stucks at "looking for it" and nothing really much happening. Then closing a window > reopening it seems fixes the problem

But so far stuff is good, keep it up with updated @frankydm

Reporting bugs and frustrated issues so far:
1). bring back ctrl+c > ctrl+v shortkeys option. Is really annoying to click everything with mouse
2). When uploading, and some bug occurs, the uploading stops, and you need to click on "upload" once again manually. Make it auto please.

Question to frank: if i have 3 different types of photoshoots, i.e. refreshing drink ; people in the park; light bulbs. Can i all 3 of  them add to same batch upload and upload as one whole group? or i need to create 1 batch for refreshing drink, and another batch for people in the park and another for lightbulbs?

« on: February 04, 2017, 03:59 »
can someone please explain me, why im getting keywords in that new ESP in all kind of languages: russian, german etc.? Its the refine page in editing images. Also it seems really naive to me, i have image of refreshing drink, and keyword : Drink > and it suggests me to refine the Drink keyword in subcategory: 1). drinking buddies - film; 2). drinking health - film title......
This "please refine"is naive af excuse me. Why do i need to refine "ice tea" isnt its fking obvious? And other stuff like that just triggers me really bad

what is this crap

Run away from 500px while you still can

but why? I saw A LOT of posts and discussions about how "bad" 500px is, but i only can see whining and crying without any proper explanation. They sell bad (low) but sometimes they still do sell, and from time to time, i get some sells there, which result in some money. whats the issue ?

Adobe Stock / Re: DPC and Adobe stock now.
« on: July 05, 2016, 05:37 »
I disagree with big volume of sales with low RPD. I had less sales at FT than at SS, but earned more...

I mean on DPC not FL in general. DPC = lower RPD and more sales than FL main site

Sometimes i just dont understand, maybe i am just stupid, but whats the * difference between more sells for small price or less sells for big price, if in the end you freaking losing almost 500$ every month in general? Some people thinking abilities shock me.

It's good to hear that 500px bans people who still upload there.  ;)

Dollar Photo Club was the worst thing that happened to all of us microstockers.
I am glad Adobe killed it!

Im not sure how loss of 400$ every month can be good. But i guess its just you, who happy.

For past half year got banned there twice for "spam" then with angry email spam for support, getting unbanned. This happens due many image submission and people reporting it for spam. I dont understand the stupid policy of this stock. They look for contributors for their marketplace, to sell RF images, however ban them for uploading too much.

Any ideas ?

« on: March 23, 2016, 08:03 »
Decided to renew uploading there. Do i need to attach release to photos with people? It says " We believe you need a model release to sell this image with a commercial license."

But not sure where to attach it to. Can some one help ?

Hello! Would be thankful to know. Since almost every stock have 50 partner stocks, and many of them collide with each other sometimes, is it worth to upload individually to partner stocks (standalone) ?

123rf have panthermedia.net as partner, what if i will also upload to panthermedia.net ? what happens then?

« on: August 27, 2015, 05:16 »
Hello! I might be blind, but how do i set up shutterstock partner program? For example on fotolia, you can join that 1$ program, than Istock also offer sells on thinkstock if im not mistaken. How do i setup shutterstock partner program? I heard shutterstock send your work to Bigstock - is this true? Or i need to setup it ?

Dreamstime.com / Re: Dreamstime PRICE
« on: July 08, 2015, 05:49 »
The selling price is the price the buyer pays if he want to buy the full rights to the image. Naturally, this should be a higher price than the standard RF prices.

If you want to be able to sell the rights to your image, check the box "Sell the rights (SR-EL, SR-EL 1, SR-EL 3)".
You can use either the Recommended price (check that box as well) or set your own price.

If you never want to sell the rights, uncheck the box "Sell the rights (SR-EL, SR-EL 1, SR-EL 3)".

Okay, if i uncheck the box "Sell the rights (SR-EL, SR-EL 1, SR-EL 3)", than i should not think about the check box about the "set price" ? Does the box about setting the price is only for selling rights? So which means that if i dont want to sell rights, i can also uncheck the recomended price box, because it not matters?

Hello! Can you please give me more detailed information, because im totally not understanding the system.

Do you set Recommended price or you un-check that thing? The prices are SUPER HIGH, why would anyone buy a photo for 1k$ if you can use subscription and buy it for like 5$. I just really dont understand how that works. If i un-check "set recommended price" - what happens than ? Or if i CHECK it, what happens than ?

iStockPhoto.com / question about istock exclusive
« on: March 30, 2015, 00:32 »
Hello dear microstockgroup forum members! I have a question about istock exclusive. According to the pool on the right > Istock exclusive has raiting 210 (up to this date), and top earner is shutterstock with rating 93 (up to this date). Is it really that huge difference? Does istock exclusive really this much good on earnings? Comparing to istock (non-exclusive), how much is the difference? 3 times, 5 times, 10 times higher?

Thanks for your answers!

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Istock Agreement and Getty
« on: January 07, 2015, 04:28 »
It's mainly an internal reorganisation, it doesn't mean your images are being made exclusive.

Okay, this helps! Thanks for your reply, maybe something else i should know? (major i mean, not minor)

iStockPhoto.com / Istock Agreement and Getty
« on: January 07, 2015, 04:19 »
Hello! Title says all. I really need more detail explanation, i am not strong in these law changes and new agreement changes etc. Not a lawyer, and i really hope you can guide me in few questions, i know some of you understand these new changes better and can help me and other people who don't know if the changes are mayor.

I am not exclusive photographer, i do upload on more than one stock. With all this merge with Getty, should i worry about my portfolio? I mean, i know Getty is mostly an Exclusive stock only, and when istock merges, does all my work become exclusive to ? Sounds redicilous, but you never know... Should i worry about that? or i can just accept agreement and ignore the changes, because they are not affecting me that much? I am from Europe, and i guess the TAX changes not going to affect me much either ?

I really appreciate for your advice, hope you will help me.
