We need to strike somehow. When the professional contributors stop uploading the good unique images, then the shutterstock become the world largest image crapyard. Will see that Jon Oringer when loose the buyers. No one buys trash

It is nonsense. I make 100pics/month in 2012 and my earnings go up.
I make 150pics/Week in 2016 and my earnings half by 2012.

Am I stupid why still working to shutterstock? Yes I am stupid.
from today i stopped the uploading.

Groman: is your portfolio on SS the same name as your username you use here? With 167 images?

No. I am vector artist. I have 6000 images. one year ago i sell about 100 pictures, now i sell 40-50.

(I just speak about vectors)
I belive the problem is the shutterstock flooded over with craps. The shutterstock is the playground of flooders and spammers, without qualitiy work.
This is the new acceptted vectors: The screenshots speak:

Flooders working like droids.
And this continued over hundred pages. disappointing.

You change just the text, or color (flags). Ist little spammy for me. Nobody buy this, sorry but this is not too creative. Everebody (buyers) can change the text on background.

Something happening.
Sales go down. Search engine is sucks. The image reviewing working like stupid program. Accepting the craps. Newer sell the new contects. Too many spam in the new contects. Too many spam everywhere. Less quality pictures, more spammy scrap. The professional contributors stop the uploading, the sammer uploading more and more and more. Chrasing uploading. Annoyin, stupid rejection reason. Disappearing pictures from portfolio. Buggy earings showing, buggy forum, buggy gallerystats.
We get threatening email, but the spams still on shutterstock. Work harder for less money.
My monthly earings half Less than two years ago, but my portfolio is triple now. We love it. :(

With the new feature of SS (now in beta version) buyer can add his/her own text to images and buy the license like this, im pretty sure they add this new feature to stop this kind of Bulk Uploads.

Geat news! Be so! :)

My soul cries!

http://www.shutterstock.com/gallery-4252879p1.html
He have exactly 50 pictures, This is spam?
Shutterstock hunting these contributors or just the title spammers?

16
This is the problem!

Check this:
http://www.shutterstock.com/cat.mhtml?lang=en&language=en&ref_site=photo&search_source=search_form&version=llv1&anyorall=all&safesearch=1&use_local_boost=1&autocomplete_id=&search_tracking_id=U6_2pyTyp6LW1nin2RGoXA&searchterm=website&show_color_wheel=1&orient=&commercial_ok=&media_type=images&search_cat=&searchtermx=&photographer_name=&people_gender=&people_age=&people_ethnicity=&people_number=&color=

This is the spamming. Relevant images just icons?  Check the titles of this images:
Website Icon, Website Icon Vector, Website Icon Flat, Website Icon Sign,
Website Icon App, Website Icon UI, Website Icon Art, Website Icon Logo,
Website Icon Web, Website Icon JPG, Website Icon EPS

If you do not this, you are OK.

This is joke. Everyone knows who the spammers. Why not fire up the simple way, searching in the portfolios.
Filtering the spammer by title is another joke. Many spammer have good title:
Example:
http://www.shutterstock.com/portfolio/search.mhtml?searchterm=smartphone&x=0&y=0&media_type=images&search_cat=&searchtermx=&people_gender=&people_age=&people_ethnicity=&people_number=&color=&lang=hu&search_source=search_form&version=llv1&anyorall=all&safesearch=1&submitter=4359412&photographer_name=mydes&search_group=&orient=&commercial_ok=&show_color_wheel=1&sort_method=popular

6page = 6k images from one phone icon. Congratulation.

This is spam, or poor design, but the title is ok.
When this contributors fired up, tomorrow sing up again with, friends id card.
Many spammer staring again.
And what about this?
http://www.shutterstock.com/gallery-4359412p1.html
He have good titles, but when i see this portfoio i realize this is definitely spam. 17k images from 2016?

Hello!
You can't do something, just reporting the stoled works in servers. (freakshare, nitroflare, uploaded.com ....)
I found my pictures (about 300-400 images) Just this method working,
I've tried everything. Send message. No answer. Send another message no answer. Send message to shutterstock they said
they do everything, and the thru is: they do nothing  This is hard work one by one reporting to servers, but this is the one way.
Sorry my english.

« on: June 27, 2016, 08:32 »
is anyone with increase in sales?

Nobody:( I talked with many contributors. and everyone said this. Maybe some "lucky" people with increase sales.

The demand grows not, but the number of contributors grows. The same amount of money get more contributors.

Sorry my English.

Same.
Last week sales fall down like christmas sales.
I assume you guys mean low sales. Just as a reminder, christmas may be the best selling time of the year for some contributors...

Really? I've never heard anyone saying the week, or fortnight, around Christmas/New Year as being anything but dire, which I'd expect. That's not the same as saying someone's Christmas port might perform very well for them.

Maybe imaginable :)..those designers who have 50%-70% of christmas theme pictures from his portfolio.

Yes. My sales is intresting thing.
This started a week ago. In morning my sales rise up as well,  and afternoon at 3-4 pm, just stopped, from this point i sell nothing..Like someone cut the line, or this thing working like filer. This is fustrating.
Some days i have good sales, when not stopped afternoon.

Hello!
Sorry my English, but I will try to describe.
This is intresting. When i go my portfolio, and categorizing my pictures by new. after 10-11 pages see my pictures randomly not
chronological.

Shutterstock.com / Re: Ever more erratic sales
« on: June 20, 2016, 15:14 »
I am vector artist and sales down.. down... and down..every month but a work harder and harder and harder. In vector category too many   artist who is making just one icon in one picture (spam), and from one icon making 100-1000 picture just change background color. New acceptable images (in vector) from 1000 images, just 10-20 of quality design.
And this is the point. Nobody search images by new category, because it can not find quality images.
Another agancy where not accept this (just icon) pictures and other "spams", my earnings go up..
Sorry my english..

Shutterstock.com / Re: 723,027 new images added this week!

98% of new pictures just CRAPS.

Example:
