Where i can see how much did i earn and what photo it has been downloaded and what i earned from that download?
I can see at Royalties only that charts, and i don't understand a lot from them...

Select the Export tab on the left. Then select your contract from the drop down list, select PDF for the type and then click the download button

Thank you!

hi,

i also observed that the revenue from bs is very low.. i reevaluate all the websites and see if is ok to stay put or to continue to upload to the websites where they sell our photos for nothing, what do you think?

Thanks

Photo Critique / Re: what is my photo/portfolio worth?
« on: January 31, 2017, 05:48 »
I think you have a very repetitive portfolio... I saw even photos that are twice in the portfolio, you should choose between the photos that are almost the same, not to put the whole photoshoot... choose the ones that can have the most sales... I think you could earn something, but clean your portfolio... i have the impression that i am looking at the same photo all over again...

I really don't know what to do about alamy... a have a few photos on their website because they have this messed kind of keywording, and you have to stay and modify every photo and split the keywords in 3... Do you do like this for every image you upload on alamy? is it worth it? I had no sales on alamy... but i have only 30-40 photos online... i didn't know that they really have sales...

I always keep my money from stock photography in my paypal account, and when i need to pay something on ebay or where i can pay by paypal i pay from the balance...
I understand when are big amounts... you will need your money! :)

Here in Romania just one bank has a conversion fee, the rest doesn't have, so maybe in Europe you can find a bank that doesn't have any conversion fee in your country... i think it has to be... even if is a smaller bank, or one that just entered on the market (this ones have almost no commissions).

As i know for all the banks in Europe the main currency is Euro, so it is possible your bank will transform usd in euro and then back in USD. I had this problem once... but i made a complaint at the bank and they gave me the commissions back as i asked about this before making the account and they said that don't have this! and after i found a bank and made a card in $ and didn't had this change from $ to euro and back!

well my stock earning despite all has grown steadily in the last month...i car how much i earn end of month and if they make me earning more i don't care if they sell 1 2 5 cent...microstock is about earning and of months...if i were objective i wouldn't upload to any site who give me less than 1 dollar per sale.

pond5 123rf and can stock cannot even compare in three all year to one single week of stock for example and i have similar portfolio, well in stock even less files.
You are completely and utterly wrong in your approach. This market is saturated. Promises of making things up in volume are nonsense and you are playing into the arms of agencies that fleece us for every penny they can.

Now when we get more sales on one site we are losing them from other sites. It is a trend that is unmistakable if you sell a large volume of licenses. I manage 15000 sales+ a lot of months and believe me that is how it works.

The difference between getting 25c per download and 38c per download is $250 per month versus $380 per month or $25000/month and $38000/month. When you start getting 2c per download from IStock your $380 from SS is suddenly $20.

Until we all wake up and realise this we deserve everything we get, and you will never make a long term success of this business until you realise this is the case.

very good point!

my models each sign between 8 and 13 model release forms.

I think they shouldn't
You didn't have anyone asking why so many? what is different between the model releases?

21
The other photos with the same subject are editorial?
That are accepted on the website

22
I created a generic model release that it gets accepted at all agencies.

Newbie Discussion / Re: Color profile question
« on: January 29, 2017, 12:32 »
So, i am going to ask you same question, what is the correct colour profile to save the photos for the stock industry? What is the colour space in which you upload the photos to the stock agencies? Adobe RGB or srgb?
I have a big dilemma here...

thanks!

i am a stock photographer, but in my commission jobs now i have a new partner that is videographer. I am thinking to join him with me on stock and have same account so we can both have more sales...
How can we make to see what he have sold and what i have sold so i can give him correctly his share.
what if i want at some time to upload some video, how can we see the sales from his material and the sales from mine?

Thanks

i see that you got very good advice here until now...
i will tell you how i work.
Beside stock photography i make boudoir photography... 90% of my work
I have a retoucher that works for me, and his fee i added in my package fee.
In 2 hours i take like 200 photos from which the client can choose 20 or 30 photos, if they want extra, they pay extra.
from this shootings, depends of the woman, i ask for a model release and explain what is stock photography... so from time to time i get also model release from my already paid sessions!
