Hi All,

It has been an extremely slow and painful process but we have finally wrangled the ingestion queue down to a workable amount. I would encourage you to submit your hearts out! We are aiming to keep the review time to roughly one business week, give or take a day or two.

Hi all,

Our tech team has been making some tweaks to the contributor tools as of late, in an attempt to alleviate some of the upload issues that you have been experiencing (some for quite a while).  If you have a moment, please test the Veer contributor upload system at your earliest convenience, and let us know whether you are experiencing any lingering timeouts, errors, etc.

We've temporarily deactivated some older content from the Veer UGC collection to bring more stability to our platform as we prepare for the launch of our new site.  We'll be reactivating this content once the new site launches.

-MarcvsTvllivs- [email protected] is the only address you should be contacting regarding contributor issues, all other departments are for customer questions and they would not be able to help you.

I replied to a few tax related questions today, so I can't be sure if you were one of them- but most likely the error you were receiving  from the tax form was due to a mistake when filling out the form- it is common for contributors to accidentally leave question #2 on the W8BEN blank.  Once you complete all the required fields on the form it should process fine.

Our current auto-reply says "we have received your email and will be happy to answer all your questions shortly. You should expect a response within 1-2 days, excluding weekends."  If you received a different auto-reply than that, please forward that email to [email protected] so I can investigate how that glitch happened.

-shiyali-  I just replied to your email inquiry.  That does appear to be a display glitch, thank you for the heads up, I will send that to our technical team now.

We don't have a specific MB requirement, but one dimension of the image will need to be at least 4900 pixels in order to qualify as XXL

Just a guess ... are they recalculating unpaid, non-US sales according to the exchange rate, the way Zazzle does?

I don't think so.  sometimes the amount drops quite a bit.  Today for example my account shows $2.45 less than yesterday yet it also shows I had $12.95 in sales yesterday.  So a total drop of $15.40

Hi Leaf, I'll need to look into this further to see if I can sort out why this is happening.

The most recent refunded orders I see in your account were from back in April, so that does not appear to be the culprit.  FYI- all refunds show up as a line item in your stats, the quickest way to find them would be to download the .csv sales file after setting a wide date range.

Hi KB-  that is indeed abnormal, we generally responded to emails within 24-48 hours unless there is a more complicated issue requiring further research.  I believe I have responded to your most recent email as of now.

Maui - no, it's not possible to opt-in after the October 21st cutoff date.  From Aaron's announcement above:

For anyone that communicated a subscription opt-out message to Veer and would now like to opt-in, simply send a message to [email protected] with the subject "Opt In" and we'll make sure your images are included in the subscription site.  You'll have until October 21st to let us know, but the sooner the better.

I signed up with Veer on the English speaking version of the site because I speak English. The system (?) has now decided that because I have an Italian email address, I want the site in Italian. Any idea how I can change back to the English version - maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find this info. Support have yet to reply...

Hi Sarah2 -   The localization isn't based on your email address, but rather the physical address you have registered with us.  Apart from re-registering under a different address (which would cause issues with any tax forms you submit), there is no way to change the localization.

Could you send an email over to [email protected] with your account information?  This seems like it may be an issue with your tax and royalty forms rather than a site error, but I'll only be able to look into it if you email us directly.


As mentioned in the email back and forth we had yesterday, that message is intended to be general (hence the 'props, etc.') and not necessarily meant specifically for model shots, though I can see where the confusion would stem from.  In the case of images of food we find unsuitable for our site, we will usually use a more general rejection message. 
Thanks for the feedback, we are always looking to hone our rejection messages, and due to the volume of food images we receive, it sounds like we could use some messaging specifically oriented for that subject matter.

Just to give everyone a heads up...

I just found out Veer is partnered with Media Bakery. I had requested the removal of my images from Veer because I do not want to participate in the partner program. They had already been sent to two partners, and my images were in the works to be sent to Media Bakery when I asked to remove my images.

If you all recall the fiasco with pixmac/media bakery and copyright information on about 220,000 images that had been stripped and changed to Colossus...well, I just checked all my images that were sent to Media Bakery via Veer, and all have had my copyright info stripped and Media Bakery added in its place. That is not acceptable and it is copyright infringement.

I have notified Ryan at Veer of this major problem and anxiously await his reply. I have asked that all my images be removed immediately.

Thanks for the heads up, I notified the fellow who is in charge of our API program and we will be contacting Media Bakery to get this display error corrected.

I'm having a problem and I can't find or I simply don't know how to locate my images in the marketplace..
I can see their sku numbers in my dashboard, but nothing comes up if I use the number.

It has been a while since I noticed that. My illustrations used to be JPG, as at the time I think they were not accepting EPS.
I also noticed that all contributors member pages have a link to their roaylty free illustrations, but my page doesn't have that.

I don't know ...already contacted support two days ago, but no answer.

Hi, I believe I have just responded to your email.  The issue appears to have stemmed from an error when your royalty information was being set-up- we should be able to get it corrected shortly so your images will go live on the site.
