IS  sales keep increasing for me. My sales from sep to oct will increase roughly 20%. IS revenue are now more than double SS revenue. If it keeps going this way, I might become exclusive by the end of 2008.

Same here!

Points of view, Achilles.
It is your business, but I think if you are running google ads in the page where our images are, it would be professional to let us know first.
Just my opinion, but like I said before, it is your business and you know how to run it.
The thing is, if I don't like it, I can't leave, so  must live with it. Have no problem with that, it was my decision to submit my images anyway. But when something doesn't like me, I have to say it.

LAtex,

I'm sure your earnings pay a lot of Uruguayan prime meat! Hmmm....  :D

Regards,
Adelaide

I'm almost vegetarian, but my earnings pay a lot of delicious brazilian coffee!!  ;D

Thank you people! ;D ;D ;D Muchas gracias!

I decided months ago that I wanted to live out of microstock. After a few attemps with photography, realized that my equipment wasn't good enough for microstock, so give it a try with illustration. Since then, it's been up and up and up... most of the time I can't believe it! :) I think one of the reasons is because I split my time in illustrating and in reserching. That's why my porfolio is small.

It is hard to make a living of what you love to do here in the south, in this very very small but lovely country (Uruguay).
So I'm really really really happy!!  ;D ;D ;D

PS: hope you understand my english

Wow, you're on fire at IS, latex - keep up the good work!

Thank you sharply :)
I'm really happy about that! Now I'm waiting for DT to allow me to go exclussive with IS. Based on my expierience, I think for illustrators is the best choice.

;D sorry, i wasn't very clear, my english is not so good and sometimes it's difficult to me put in english words, what i want to say.

it was a very funny story... my husband was working and saw me connected on gtalk, so he talked to me, i told him very nasty things (not me), he realized it wasn't me since i knew he was at work and everyone could read that. in fact, everyone red that and had a big laugh.
he asked the person nicely to logout, but she (or he) wouldn't so he waited paciently till she (or he) find a better thing to do, then he logged in and change the password.

it was nothing, but it could have been something.

last year in Buenos Aires i cheked my gmail in a cyber and they stole my username and password. there was nothing important there, so not big deal, but it could be... so i learned.

as a buyer, croped heads are a very annoying thing. when you find the perfect one, but the head is cropped, you just can't use it (most of the time). the same thing with objects. there are very few opportunities when you can use a cropped image.

Dreamstime.com / Re: New DT Search Engine Sucks!
« on: May 16, 2007, 14:40 »
1. my sales have been going down... april was much better. i don't know the reason to that.

2. my portfolio is small (108) and have not many sales (81)

3. BUT my retro backgrounds showed up on pages one, two and 3.

so... yes, my sales went down, but i don't think the search engine is the answer.

if you upload similar images seperatly, for example, one per week, they will sell better than if you upload all together. the images will have better expose this way... that's my experience.
maybe this is what fintastique wanted to say.

I'm smiling.  :) SS is the one site I have no complaints about. It just keeps getting better.

smiling too!!  :D

i didn't get there yet, but started 2 months ago and i'm on my half way to the $500 ($264.65). i think it's fair and it encourages me.
