Also, there is no growth on SS, its just adding images to get about the same monthly earnings since February 2014
adding images was one of my biggest mistake. If you had a good portfolio exposure and high acceptance rate than you better leave it as it is. If you adding images nowadays you just kill your good portfolio score and your good sellers will decline.

you do see that monthly packs (worst deal for contributors with 5% commission) are more prominently advertised!? As usual Fotolia screw us even more!

Adobe can't lower prices, because all professionals in Microstock market uses Adobe Software. They can't because that would cause an image problem for Adobe. Payouttime is still the same as ever (too long, 3 weeks in averrage).
In my case something changed a lot! The balance between credit- and subscription sales changed from 1:2 to nearly 2:1. At a level of roundabout 200 sales at month this change can completely change my strategy with all other agencies.
Will say, more pictures exclusively to FT, less effort with others, more earnings at FT. Some years ago i owned position 118 in overall ranking.
Maybe, FT has duped their contributors and also Adobe by announcing more subscription sales than there are. After the acquisition it is unusual that Adobe does a change, it has to be done by the old management. If i had the new numbers and earnings in the past, i hadn't gave so much pictures at so much other players.
Hope this will getting a consist status.
99% of their customers are not producing stock most of them use stock and they want it as dirt cheap as possible. Adobe gives a * about the 1% that is producing stock!

It does look nice even on mobile and passes the google mobile test ( clean theme passes the test too but doesn't look so nice on a mobile IMHO) Symbiostock now belongs you Robin? And Leo is completely out of the game regarding Symbiostock?

It's so obvious that it is an algorithm that now mostly reviews our photos. It's crazy to do it this way after all good photos transfer feelings and emotions and can't be judged by a machine. It is all about greed even fishheads are now too expensive for them to pay reasonable good reviewers. People should stop to think that SS is a photographer friendly agency they are quite the opposite.

i would make a little video i don't get it what should be advantage compared to other tools. and why exif shouldn't it be iptc? and why should the photographers name important it's the least inportant field if you are doing stock and gets stripped out from the metadata by the agencies anyway. Are you doing stock photography you doesn't seem to know the industry very well.
The name is Exif, but indeed IPTC data is written.
The advantages of ExifStock is: - Fast input of mtadata, by only using the keyboard - Build your own keyword library (divide keywords in categories)
That the photographers name is stripped by the agencies, i didn't know that.
Thank you for your post!
thanks would still appreciate a little video to see it in action without installing it in the first place (I'm hesitant to install anything before I can see it the website doesn't even show a screenshot)

Yes, I saw those topics but nobody is talking about their sales :/
Thanks anyways
No one seems to talk about their sales for some reason, can only deduce that they maybe aren't as fantastic as everyone is led to believe, or the sales are so good the current contributors are scared of saying so in case too many others get on board?
I don't think they do overly well no one does these days.

some lovely images. but i doubt that they are in need of images with lovely kids they have enough already. regarding food and animals check what they have and compare it to your own work.

but if you have only three you get error messages because of Fotolia even if you don't submit to them anymore but they are a default entry I think the default entries really should removed that shouldn't a big issue to do for you.

On the US-site Image Pack are now standard and shown as first, that means buyer pays credit prices contributor earns pennies subscription prices. Well done Adobe!

It's all about marketing your own content (which should be great) the platform doesn't really matter that much. I would stick with your Symbiosite the time needed for building up all again on a new platform is better invested in marketing and creating new and better content!

Getty, Corbis all main macro agencies do.
I'll. Try them. Thanks.
How?
I'll try to submit the photos to Getty as RM. Do you know if they'll accept images as RF if I have a model release without witnesses?
yes RF too and as I said before I'm very sure that FT doesn't require a witness too

Perhaps primitively, I've traditionally viewed SS, IS and DT as the three main players. So it came as some surprise to me that Adobe chose to buy FT for a truly staggering amount of money.
I think DT was not exploitive enough for Adobe to buy. Getty had already huge problems with the over 20% percentage for exclusives and tried everything to bring this down. FT was their choice because it was the most aggressive, contributor-unfriendly and unfair agency if you think Adobe is the artists friend than dream on................
