At the beginning of the year, I set a goal to double my portfolio from a little over 4000 images to 8000 images. Today, I uploaded my 8000th image at MyStockVectors.com, so I achieved that goal. Release the balloons and queue the parade music.

Sorry if this is too much of a pimping topic. It took a lot of work and planning to achieve this, so I just wanted to share it.

My sincerest congratulations. 8000 vectors is no small feat (it's about 4 times as many as I have made). It's not like you can make a new one just by pushing a little button on a camera.

You roughly popped out 15 images a day, 7 days a week for 9 months straight.

It sounds super-human to me.

I am jealous... I'm about 150 photos behind my goal...

But on a brighter note, earnings-wise I'm doing OK compared to my goals, I might reach my 2012 goal already in November.

Thanks again everyone.

My thought behind the goal was to have a lot of unique images that can only be purchased at my own site and a few other sites that I want to grow my earnings at. It seems like all the work has paid off because my earnings are back up despite having eliminated several major sites. Hopefully, things continue to grow.
