;D ;D

Never had 0.6, but did have few 1.5$ sales. And every time it happend i immediately wrote compalainment to SS to opt-out of any kind of "programs". To which they reply that it is a low-res-web type of sale.  To which i reply that i will stop uploading if this happens again.

Again, had 2-3 of these sales only.

Waste of time... they ignore everything. Even the inappropriate rejections... SS doesn't care about us.

I get A LOT of those rejections. Example i upload 9 video clips, they reject all of them. I upload 2 by 2, they accept... So naive...

Well as well as SS selling the occasional videos for $1.50 and under.. Pond5 dropped the percentage to 40%, introduced web pricing and subscriptions, iStock pay a super-low commission rate, 123RF, DepositPhotos and Dreamstime barely sell any videos compared to the big boys... so, who do you suggest we do submit to?

$1.5 for a clip is very generous compared to $0.03 on iStock   :o

1.50, 1.80 each day, more and more...just love their "strategy" transition to subs for video. A strategy that will prove to be a successful one in the end >:( >:(

Naive (or provocative) questions:

Does anyone removed a low price sold clip or it is considered a "seller"?

Do you host those files in other agencies? In what pricing?

I always remove video if SS sells it for 1.50.

I'm really getting frustrated with the $1.50 video sales. They have replaced normal sales. It just doesn't seem wort it. It won't even cover a medium cup of coffee at Tim Hortons (and that is pre-tax).

Perhaps...

"The reason some of your click traffic appears to be coming from Ashburn, is because its home to one of the biggest technology centers in the world. In fact, internet companies like Amazon.com, Time Warner, and AOL route their information through the Dulles Technology center. The region is reportedly home to more telecom and satellite companies than any other place on earth."

Are you sure there's a H in that?  ;D More like what the payment represents.

Our Ashburn, VA data center is one of the largest data centers in the United States, boasting 360,000 square feet. Of that square footage, 176,200 square feet is a raised floor area perfect for our server requirements.

Seeing lots of $1.50 - $1.80 footage sales this month... seems like they are hell bent on killing off that side of the business. Not worth the effort when I can get more for a stills image.

While just speculation, I don't think it's AI. I think they've outsourced it to somewhere like India, where a guy gets paid for how many videos he "reviews".
So out of laziness, periodically just skips a bunch so he/she can say they were "reviewed", so he/she gets paid.

I know for a fact some of them do exactly that with deliveries. (I.e., some DHL drivers will just mark "attempted delivery" several times so it "appears" they are working, when in fact they just skip the delivery route). Some of them are very creative with ways to 'scam' the system, aka get paid without doing any work.

Unfortunately image goes way too softer using NeatVideo.
It is supposed to make usable a grainy shot you cannot replicate
not stock!

 :-\

edit, if e.g. Neat Video can read noise or softness, so the agency will do to the final result.
We might laugh on humans pixel peeping but for AI it is normal standard procedure from start pixel to end pixel ?
