Friday my contributer page had over a $100 in earnings. Today is shows $0. I looked in the payment history and the money is not there.

It's a new month. This is normal.

Monthly totals drop to $0 on the 1st of every month, if this is what you are talking about.

Of course there is a reset, its your monthly earnings, and there wouldnt be anything in the payment history as it hasnt been paid yet. Its all good. Around the 8th of this month you will have your money.

"Gross Earnings" also drops to zero  -- if you reach your payout threshold.

okay thank you. I just thought when they paid you they reset it. I did not realize it was a monthly count.

tab62

and Congrats on making payout! Hopefully many more to come  :)

You've made payout, so the counter starts over. Rejoice and be glad!

Noedelhap

They don't reset it, actually. If you look at the dropdown menu and go back to the month August, you'll find the monthly total again.

this would apply to ss

had it been another company, I would have been deeply worried.

But if somebody reached $100, and thereby a payout, doesn't the "counter" start all over until the next $100 payout is reached? Obviously, there's a running total for the entire amount earned over time.

No.  Shutterstock pays at the end of the month.  Whatever you earned over $100 is paid to you and the counter starts over.

If you reach payout in the middle of the month, your counter doesn't start over.

Yes, I know that from my own experience with SS payouts. But wasn't he talking about the counter reverting to zero at the end of the month? After he reached $100 in sales? To me that would indicate he reached payout and the counter has reset for the next run-up to $100.

Or... whatever.  :D

On the subject of payout, has anyone received the usual 'Your earnings have been calculated and are $$$, expect to be paid by 15th of the month', email since the 1st of Sept?

Uncle Pete

Yes, on the 3rd.
