I downloaded the update yesterday but can't see how I get it to install. Have sent an email to your website.

Suggestion - can updates be constructed so that when you download the new version it just auto updates?

Yes, there will be auto-update implemented in future versions.

Latest version doesn't search on editorial images. Is there a bug? or on purpose?

I have question about 123RF, just registered there with 3 photos accepted. Later I put some bunch of photos trough Xpiks and uploaded to Alamy, Fotolia and 123RF. Alamy and Fotolia got the photos just right over ftp, while photos sent to 123RF (connection test and everything else was green and OK) uploaded but were nowhere to be found on 123RF... Do you know what could have caused this?

I don't even know if it is possible but are you planning to add keywording option for video?

Any future version that could work with video too? We like the combination of keywording from different sites.

If future version will include video import (even if only screengrabs are in thumbnails), it would be great to export metadata in .csv form.

Well, I can't even get the program to open. As soon as click on it, I get a message that "xpiks-qt has stopped working".

This still happens even when I've disabled my Avast shields. :/

I've been using the software for a bit and it is really good! Would you be able to add capability of opening PNG files and adding metadata? Some agencies and most PODs accept PNG files as well.

Hi. Xpiks is same as before (open-source, safe). The correct question is what's wrong with your Windows

It would be great to have it connect to Lightroom (as plugin?)

Hello. What do you mean "no exe file to click"? What exactly have you downloaded? For the Windows you should extract the archive somewhere and inside you can find xpiks-qt.exe. Double-click it and you're done.
Automatic updates have just been implemented in 1.4 Next update will be executed automatically.

ok!  It says xpiks-qt but there was no exe designation which confused me - doh! However, have clicked that and it has gone ok.

That's the main reason I'm sticking to Stocksubmitter, but your user interface is definitely cleaner and better

Yep, this is planned though I can't give you any estimates right now because there're some outstanding tasks (video support) not yet finished.

There's a new bugfix release of Xpiks available - 1.4.1. This release focuses on fixing bugs related to the new UI. Also Windows users unfortunately will be able to enjoy automatic update experience only starting with this version due to the bug in 1.4 release. Please update via website! Enjoy!

Not really - right now microstocks don't allow searching for editorial photos separately from all photos. You can try adding "editorial" when searching in keywords suggestion.

With the newest 32 bit version of Xpiks, when I open the Suggest window to search for keywords, I receive an 'SSL connect error' when I try to use iStock or Shutterstock's search functions. Oddly, it works fine if I select Fotolia. The error doesn't occur in the previous version I was using 1.3.3.
