Yesterday I received the following warning from PayPal:

Quote
Dear xyz,

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

http://franky242.net/shop/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/ipn/paypal_ipn.php

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

Sincerely,

PayPal

I switched to sandbox mode and tested a transaction: I was able to pay and download the files afterwards as a user however did not receive any notification mail as seller to the mail-account of my shop.

Today I received the same mail from PayPal again - any one experienced the same or any tipps for me? - Thank you!

I had this same issue. There are a couple of recent threads here. I would copy and paste them, but doesnt work too well on ipad and this forum.

thanks cathy, I searched (again, did not find any information on first try) and found the thread. I now changed the path to http://franky242.net/shop/symbiostock_ipn/ and hope this works! Thanks a lot...

I jumped on my computer, here are the relevant threads:

http://www.microstockgroup.com/symbiostock-technical-support/paypal-instant-payment-notification-warning/

So I removed the IPN info at Paypal per Leo, and created this thread:

http://www.microstockgroup.com/symbiostock-technical-support/how-to-set-your-paypal-ipn-information-in-sy-theme-and-in-paypal/

Then I had issues with my images not moving to download area. Leo troubleshooted and determined it was a paypal issue.

I had to create a business account (wanted to do that at some point anyway) and then my images would move to the correct area.

Just try some test purchases after you make your changes to make sure they are all working correctly.

Thanks, Cathy, this is very helpful. Since I already have a business account, I will do some test purchases now and hopefully all works out well!
