Everything is working smoothly so far. No complaints.

After uploading most of my RF stuff I'm looking into adding Editorial content. With the help of Ajotte's and Imagerion's plugins I can label the editorial images nicely.

I wonder though, if one of the next Symbiostock releases has this feature built in already? So we have to re-edit all of our editorial content?

I read that Leo asked about different license types, so I assume he is working on the RF/RM (editorial) part somewhat.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the plugins to get things customized the way we need them, I'm just starting to lose track of what other features each plugin has and I already feel like I'm only using 10% of their potential because all the features are so overwhelming.

Maybe it's just me, I just would prefer to have features like license types, enlarged image previews when hovering over thumbnails and such included in the theme itself.

Again, I do appreciate Ajotte's and Imagerion's work and thanks for that!

I am just thankful that Leo, Ajt and Plrang are giving up their time to create this great theme and various additions free for everyone and only asking for donations rather than cash up front  ;D

No doubt about that!

Rome wasn't built in a day either. And of course the users who have no clue about programming always want more and better stuff, especially if it's "free".

I just asked this question to see if Leo can give us an idea if features like "Editorial" license options or enlarged image previews will someday be part of the main theme or if it will always be a third party add-on.

If i am not mistaken, all of those things leo is working on will be in a paid theme upgrade, not plugins. But i could have misunderstood.

I understand that plugins are a strength of the WP world. I don't mind at all running a basic theme and a bunch of plugins that provide exactly the additional functionality I want.
And if something doesn't work (like after a major WP upgrade) it's relatively easy to pinpoint which plugin causes the trouble. If it was all in one theme I'd be stuck.

I have already donated to both Ajt and Plrang
