Im trying to show a slider on the front page using this: [ss-slider id=my-preview-slider size=minipic action=latest] but no images are slided, only empty ones.

Im probably doing something wrong but I cant figure out what.

Does your slider get you to set the size of the display etc and then have an upload button to load photos directly into the slider. I used the Soliloquy slider plug in and that's what you do with that upload directly into the a new slider, name it set the display size, timing of the slides and paste the code to the page you want it to display on, the slider photos are uploaded directly from my computer to the slider widget.

I thought I would use one of the built in sliders to show the latest images. When I click on the empty images on the front - and that goes for all the widgets, i get the a new page with the right picture. But the pictures on the front page does not appear.

When I use the HOME Page CTAs template I get a slider without using the short code, but that rolls the text underneath too...

I cab see in the menu Royalty Free Images that there is no Preview image. Maybe that is why. Can I generate this somehow?

I don't know why they are missing, but you can try :)
In admin panel go to Stock images->All images, select them, and from "Bulk Actions" select "Reprocess".

Thanks! It seems like a "minipic" is being created (Admin/Media Library) now but still no pictures in the widgets on the front.

I also got this while trying:

Error: huge EXIF data count - EXIF is probably Corrupted
