Alamy submission doesn't work for weeks. I'm confused, as the status report in Stocksubmitter usually says "OK", for other userts had succesful submission. I always get "Unknown authentication error"

I'm facing a funny situation, stock submitter is  not allowing me to upload .mp4 4k videos to Videoblocks. They do accept these videos and I've used LR timelapse to make stuff that has been uploaded and accepted. Any help or suggestions

What is the exact error message do you get?
Also please show a screenshot of the tooltip to the problematic footage.
Just shows the format is incompatible with this site (videoblocks). Doesn't allow me to upload. Uploads fine on all other sites and gets submitted.

No, I mean mouseover the problematic footage and take a screenshot of the tooltip.

They have added the captcha for the authentication process. The program is now updated to support it so just restart the program and it should work.

seems it does not work still. waited few days already. I did also tryed to launch alamy and pond5 in incognito mode, to write capcha there, however it still asks for it in stocksubmitter. And you really cant do anything there, i was signed up the captcha with alamy, and 3 seconds later it pops up again, like please login and write captcha. Annoying, please check.

And what is up with updates? it says that there is 1 update ready to be installed, no matter what how many times i launch program, like i launch it, update it > close it and re-open - same thing, it says there is update, but nothing changes. Everything is started up with administration rights, first time this issue

Niakris

What's the problem exactly with Pond5 for you?

For Alamy, try authenticating twice, then immediately send a report using Service -> Report an issue.

Update issue was resolved yesterday.

These are the tooltips I'm getting. The video just to the side of this one has also been exported by the same program in the same format but it got uploaded and submitted easily

Niakris

iStock doesn't support this non-standard resolution (4096x2720)

My issue is why is it not uploading to Videoblocks?

The video on the right of this one is exported from the same program. But it uploaded and submitted easily

VideoBlocks doesn't support this resolution either.

I've started the program after more than a week of break and I was surprised to see that more than half of my site settings had disappeared. There are much less sites listed now.
Can there be any specific reason for that?

Could happen if something had removed some of the program configuration files.

I cannot submit or upload to Pixta for more than a day.

There is no way to get past authorization.

This Electron window (which is painfully slow btw..) just sits there and never disappears like for exampla after Fotolia login

yeah but it's Pixta fault I simply started to ignore them, they are such a small earner not worth the hassle anyway.

For me it's not the smallest among the agencies I submit to.
Strange thing is that Stoicksubmitter is telling me that some contributors have successfully
submitted in the last couple of hours.
I just wonder if i'm doing something wrong, but i cannot think of what it could be

Niakris

Try the latest program update, should help.

Just can't get anything to run. Just seizes up.
Will uninstall and reinstall. If that fails - anybody know of a good alternative?

Niakris

Can you explain what is exactly happening?

Seems my fairly aged computer cannot cope, but 'Niakris' was helpful and will reconsider Stocksubmitter again when this old machine in traded in!

Yes, now it works, thanks!

Almost everytime Stocksubmitter starts up, it says something like 'it's been a long time since you've made a backup of your configuration settings', even though I do a backup every time. The message comes back too often. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn off this warning either.

This extra click at startup annoys me a bit as well

Niakris

It happens just once a week, not so many times.
It can save you a lot of headache if the program gets terminated incorrectly and the configuration will be reset.

I think it would be enough to remind me less often. Site configurations are something what i change maybe 2 times a year

It's not about site configurations (restoring them is not really a problem usually).
It's about other data (database of uploaded images paths for submitting them, releases database, balance history). Losing all of it will most likely be a disaster.
