Hi everybody! I am new to the stock footage world and I just have a few questions. I only today but my first image in for review so I'm completely like a Fish Out of Water here. It would be so great if you guys could help me out. Truthfully I'm pretty sure they're dumb questions, but I just want to find out the answers to , too sort of put my mind at ease.

● Am I allowed to put the same image on multiple stock footage sites if it's considered royalty free and non-exclusive?

● also once I put an image on a stock footage site am I allowed to still display that image in my portfolio and on websites that showcase photography?

Again I'm sorry if these questions are silly it's just that I tried finding the answer, but there's a lot more information for people buying stock footage then selling stock footage. At least that seems to be what I run into constantly online. Which is why I was pretty stoked when I found this website. Also I'm not very seasoned in royalty rights.

First question: yes, as long as you're not going exclusive with any agency, you're free to upload it to all microstock agencies.
Second question: yes, you still own the copyright, so it's up to you to display it any way you like. Just be sure to protect your work with a watermark if you put in on display somewhere.
