Looking for some advice on new software. Bridge has constantly crashed since I upgraded to CS3, and I need to find a replacement. I like the RAW editor in CS3 and am happy with Photoshop, but Bridge has become unusable.

Main features I use and would like.

Normal sorting, viewing, organizing features, including viewing Canon RAW images.

Ability to rate images and sort on that rating.

Edit keywords and copy keywords from image to image easily.

Slideshow

View images full screen and 100%

Open into CS3 raw editor.

Anybody have  a 3rd party app they reallly like?

Thanks

I used many years ACDSee pro but the latest version, Pro 2,5 is so badly programmed that crashed frequently, the waiting time when entering a folder was 10-30 sec but I recorded 2minutes also so...
The answer was FastStone.
Quick, simple and usable. The only thing I miss is the rating system, but in the near future I want to donate some money for the project so I will ask for this feature.
This FastStone is a perfect tool between Irfanview and ACDSee/Bridge. Also recognizes raw, suports image processing (batch, resize, rename, convert, etc.) and some simple editing tools (as a professional you will never use them unless you remove the red eye from your family photos.
I'm really satisfied and I'm happy that I found this wonderful piece of software.
Of course it's not perfect but I expect in the future some upgrades.

Before jumping to conclusions, you can try CS4. The full functioning version works for 30 days. The RAW is much better than CS2 and even CS3. You might just check if your bugs are still there.
Ranking and slideshows are already standard in the Vista File manager.

In downloaded/installed it, but I can't find any support for IPTC metadata, let alone batch treatment of selected IPTC fields like Irfanview.
