Strange that you'd arrive at two assumptions when I neither said, or even inferred, anything that would indicate that's my stance. But hey, I guess that completely misunderstanding the point is the MAGA way... so it's understandable.

Trump loves himself, and his supporters think he loves them... but he doesn't.

Trump: "China will now pay a big number to our treasury. This is all taxes."
Does he STILL not know how tariffs work?!

Yeah but nah... pretty sure the spiders, snakes, and drop bears are more likely to get you before the Chinese military does. I mean strewth, you're more likely to die playing goon of fortune than getting whacked by the Chinaroos... fair dinkum.

Most likely, I wrote it incorrectly. The US exports cars to the EU. The exporter pays a tariff to the EU budget. Then this car is sold to the buyer already with VAT, accordingly, the EU budget receives both the tariff and VAT. As we can see, the price of the car becomes uncompetitive in the EU.
At the same time, when a car from the EU is sold to the US, the US budget does not receive VAT. I do not know about any other taxes. Accordingly, the EU, when exporting cars to the US, receives more profit and can sell their cars in the US and can compete with cars produced in the US.
The importer pays a tariff to the government of their country... the country the car is being imported to. Yes, the buyer pays VAT in most cases. They can write it off if it's a business expense in certain cases. They also pay VAT on cars that aren't imported, so the only additional price (aside from shipping) is the markup added as a result of the tariffs. Whether that makes the car uncompetitive or not depends on the amount of the increase (i.e what the tariff is) and the demand for the car. Most US car sales have sales tax added on top. Why on Earth would an EU car sold in the US, bring in more profit than an EU car sold in the EU?! And what's all this 'EU budget' nonsense?! The EU budget comes from contributions made by the member states and are entirely separate from import tariffs and VAT levied by individual countries. It's the same reason I wouldn't say that US tariffs and sales tax contribute to the 'North American Budget'. I mean, it kind of does, but also... it very much does not.

Yeah... I said which Javelins. you sent a picture of one Javelin. So the question remains... which Javelins?!
8
« on: April 02, 2025, 02:27 »
He said Javelins. That's one Javelin. Trump sent one Javelin?!
9

Remember, it was President Trump who sent Javelins instead of pillows. Which Javelins is he referring to?

You're right... you have often said that you're not that interested in what Trump says, more what he does. And more often than not, you completely contradict yourself hardly a post or two later (sometimes in the same post!), fawning over something Trump has said... and not yet done.

and your slimy slur on Jared is inexcusable
 Who is Jared?
"His daughter married a Jew". Keep up! So you know his daughter married a Jew, and as a result Trump might be a Mossad agent... but you couldn't be bothered to find out the name of who she married?!

I already referred to one expert who praised Trump yesterday.
And as Trump is the result of the Democrats' policies, and he is their brainchild (well, according to you anyway)... he was actually praising the Democrats?

Do you have a link to donate to Russia? Those 4,000 tanks aren't going to build themselves!
While I've donate money to Ukraine, every post of yours that I read, I do think to myself... maybe I should send a bit of money to Putin, help him out a bit.
And what's with the blue balls for your list... is that a new thing we can look forward to moving forward? A dash works fine.

I know that we should never judge an entire country on one person, but I do sometimes wonder if all Ukranians are the same as you.
Never having been to Ukraine, I have to rely on the overall media portrayal, which is usually of a wonderful people, beautiful country, our European cousins, toast basket of the world, valiantly fighting oppression in some kind of David vs Goliath war. Fighting the good fight.
That's what I bought into and it's still kind of what I like to beleive, but I do sometimes wonder if all Ukranians are massive Trump supporters, blinded by extreme biases, and divorced from reality.
I can imagine some big world leader meeting ending with... so we're all agreed on delivering the full funding package to Ukraine? We must support our Ukrainian brothers and sisters in their fight against tyranny! Everyone cheers in thunderous applause, but a hand can be seen sheepishly being raised at the back of the room. You there... you have something to add? Yes sir. I mean... well... yeah the Ukranians are pretty great, yeah... but, well... have you heard of a site called microstock group? Well there's this stoker guy and he's making me question everything we think we know about Ukraine.
Either way... I choose to believe that Ukranians are pretty cool. Rather than you being an accurate representation of your average Ukranian, I would much rather choose to beleive that you are actually Russian. A Putin plant meant to sew division and distrust. To plant the seeds of doubt and to erode the world's perception of the Ukranian people... one online microtock forum at a time. Better than a whole department of Kremlin propagandists coupd ever do.
Either way, Russian or not, you'll be getting a medal from Putin when all this is done, comrade.

The slogan shouldn't be MAGA it should be take back our rights and our country.

Their jaws will be dropping in disbelief when they read today's history. But the way things are going, what with the department of education, Trump's picks for cabinet and wide-ranging funding cuts... let's hope it's due to the content of that history, and not:
"What are all these strange symbols on this peice of paper?! I'm clicking them but nothing is happening".

Trump: A few weeks over four years... it's too early to assess Trump's actions at this point.
Biden: A few weeks less than four years... electric chair!
You do make me chuckle!

Are you basing that on anything specific, or is that just a personal opinion.... because all the approval ratings and things like the economy/unemployment etc, would disagree with you? I don't think there was anything overwhelmingly positive about Biden, or even slightly positive to be fair, but if there needs to be a president between Trump and Trump then a relatively neutral, benign placeholder that doesn't let anything decline much further... works just fine for me!
But yeah, if you're pitting Biden against Trump for who's the worst president... that would be another example of Trump 'winning'.

Doctor, who are you to question the words of a counterintelligence officer?
And when presented with an accusation of wrongdoing by Ukraine (from a Russian counter-intelligence officer) I'm sure you'll demonstrate your usual level of bias-free commentary, and accede to their superior wisdom?
