they pulled this same stunt years ago, don't you all remember? Lots of promises. IIRC things didn't improve. This will be no different.

I don't believe anyone will do this. We don't share the internal workings of the co-op, the decision to do so would have to come from HQ. You don't need to know how it works to submit to CTA. Good luck!

General Stock Discussion / Re: Has Enyone Got the ESP username & password????« on: February 07, 2017, 22:52 »
ah, this explains why I can't get into the ESP site. I usually have some dramas logging in at Getty (there are/were too many different log in portals, perhaps they are tidying that mess up?)
I've emailed them, assuming it was my old email being the problem and they didn't even mention some kind of email you are all talking about. I hardly UL so it's not a big issue, and i'm sure my statement from last month is overflowing with cents. I did receive a link to try to request my email be changed (pretty sure it was already changed, but whatevs...) and hilariously, that link doesn't work. 106
123RF / Re: How to delete images in the new Dashboard?« on: November 29, 2016, 03:24 »I also can't delete files, I know how to do it, but it just doesn't work. I have deleted a number of files, twice, which was very tedious. I started deleting files (to move them exclusively elsewhere) over 3 months ago and I've been checking in and still they haven't been removed. I've contacted support who don't care (told me to wait a week) and after a week, with no change, and with must frustration I told them I would just close my whole account and they said sure, but we'll keep all your money, as per your agreement. Wow, it takes me quite a while to even get to payout, and they want to keep my piddling $50? I'm not sure who is more desperate, me or them... I feel quite sad as I have a soft spot for these guys, being my first ever stock agency I tried out. I was going to let them have the money but actually, that's wine money, and it's MINE dammit. ![]() 107

So I'm thinking it's still the same situation? I have to deleted about 200 files and it's a giant PITA, lots of mouse moves and clicks and it jumps back to page 1, file 1 each time. Does anyone have any tips?

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Getty e-mail about iStock "Contributor Facing Changes"« on: August 04, 2016, 18:19 »
I've also sent an email requesting to close my account. It's too time consuming to remove certain files, and my royalties are only buying me one nice bottle of wine per month.

Shutterstock.com / Re: Email from SS - Regarding Repeated Words and Phrases in Image Titles« on: June 30, 2016, 17:44 »
Yes I got this, very strange email and I replied saying "thanks for insulting me". What a joke! I don't spam and i've no intention of wasting my time looking for some innocent title that might have fit whatever witch hunt search they did. pfft. for the pissy amount I make each month I will not waste my time.

I've been a Nikon girl for a decade and happy about it... (upgraded from the D80, which was even worse) although I do have serious envy for that 50mm 1.2 canon lens.

I think you've proven his point about arguing over the meaning of the shark idiom. Can't you boys see you are both right? too funny. I agree, I rarely post and only pop in once a week (maximum) to check on latest industry news and reactions. I'm glad for the advice and help I received when I joined, although even then it was like a shark tank in here.

+1 to that. everytime someone disagrees you label them a "troll". Are you using this word incorrectly? Your English seems really very good, so I'm afraid you are coming across as somewhat unhinged.

Adobe Stock / Re: Fotalia re-design!« on: May 05, 2015, 19:52 »
I haven't uploaded much lately either, and it's great I can select multiple files, but at 30MB total size that equals only 3 per upload, unless I switch to FTP, which often fails (due to my dodgy connection I assume). now instead of the % indicator at the bottom of the window I get to watch the green swirly Fotolia logo instead. there was something odd with the indexing: changing keywords in one didn't marry up and instead changed the order in the other two.

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe changes at Fotolia« on: May 05, 2015, 18:55 »
when did they change the website? I logged in today after I saw an email saying I'd earned 50credits for a sale, and I wondered how much that meant for me ($10) and the site has been revamped. looks better, but their stat page is still the same silly system, rather than just giving a big useful graph like DT does. edit: just saw the other thread about this.
and I've read (here) that they increased prices, do we have to manually change our prices or have they automatically increased? 117

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock hiring cheap work-at-home reviewers« on: April 02, 2015, 17:00 »Still, this thread has wandered a bit, as SS specifically want people in Europe for these posts. Wonder why? this topic has come up elsewhere, but having Aussie images judged by Americans is also annoying, as they don't actually know what is iconic here (eg, a Granny Smith apple is an Aussie variety, and so is the preferred image for say, apple pie, or apple crumble, which is just as popular). I noticed there are no reviewer positions in any country that uses proper British English, which might explain why the SS vocab still flags words like "colour" as incorrect. 119
General Stock Discussion / Re: model might try to sue me« on: December 11, 2014, 01:45 »
We def need an updated MR that includes a paragraph stating they won't sue us if someone lifts their image (from wherever, including other sites that purchased the image) and uses it inappropriately.

123RF / Re: How to disable/ remove an image from 123RF?« on: September 28, 2014, 18:21 »
i'm not sure it's overly "easy". I open a page with my port and search for the image using a keyword, then copy the image #. Open another tab and go to your history, or your port's "accepted images" and view the whole lot, then paste in the # and you'll get to a screen that lets you delete it. Is there a better way?

OMG, I'm sorry, what's wrong with you? Sean is a Stock God, and 1) you seem to be unaware of that and 2) you continue to insult him. Although he may not do approvals he is our conduit between contributors and admin. I'd say your chances of getting in to Stocksy are as promising as Australia winning the World Cup.

Stocksy / Re: YES! I got accepted to Stocksy...« on: September 28, 2014, 17:50 »
I'm glad it's finally out there: part of your acceptance into Stocksy is based on your behaviour. Those who have been mouthing off here are showing that they aren't going to be good on the Stocksy team. I'm not sure why it needed to be said. You know Sean is here, and I've spotted a few other eds, and a few contributors (some keep it quiet), and you've no idea what influence they have at Stocksy, why would you mouth off if you wanted to get in?
