Quote from Rebekka Guleifsdttir: "I mean for crying out loud, out of 31 images this particular user has on his 'portfolio,' 25 of them are mine, and at least 3 are of me," she said in the caption for a screenshot of the iStockphoto page. So than I wonder.....how did the thief get the model release?

They don't sell vector as EPS? Anybody knows they have plans to change this?

I may be wrong, but if you close your account with some of these microstock agencies then don't they reserve the right to still sell your images? So if you close your account with an agency then you are letting them sell your images and keep all of the money. Maybe it's just certain agencies. I think that Zazzle.com operates that way.
I think that's unusual. Closing an account means no portfolio for most agencies! With RF you always own the rights.

Nice shots indeed, Gregor909!
I feel compelled to say that the reason you aren't selling them is that your keywording is remarkably lacking.
Thanks. Yeah maybe you right, I'm neglecting my photo's a bit lately, because vectors sell better! But I think I will edit those keywords anyway!

Wow this is unbelievable! I just uploaded a vector, and it got accepted the same second. After uploading I wanted to check if everything was filled in correctly and than I saw it was in the system already. This must be the world record! Way to go StockXpert, this rocks!

Why? Because of a main trend or because that you had many christmas related sales? Yes I think the last. But is it trend also?

This wouldn't be fair for Istock. That guy found your images through Istock, Istock did all the marketing, and now you are going to make the sale without Istock? Seems wrong to me!

One statement struck me:
"What we are realizing is that there are artists who do care to see their work in good hands and there are some who abuse the system. Our effort has been concentrated with helping to promote the artists and eradicate the abusers."
What would those abusers do then? I'm intrigued.
I don't know about FP but I know who they are on SS. They stuff their vectors like a christmas turkey with hundreds of unrelated images, all for the price of one.

I never use fill, I just delete the selection, but one important step I think you're missing is using feather (in PSP, I believe it's the same name in PS) to give a smooth transition.
I agree the automated selections don't work well in general. I often use them for a rough selection, I contract the selection and delete that part. Then I trace a line manually around the subject, use feather, delete. Feather, exactly, that's what I mean. Now in CS3 "feather" is "refine edge".(sorry I said "define" in my previous post) But now you get a life preview, saves you a lott of ctrl-z's!

I think that the best way to isolate objects is to shoot them on white. Isolation at post-processing stage is at best difficult and at worst impossible.
With Photoshop everything is possible! Those images are old, I'm sure I would do a better job right now with CS3.

I am inclined to buy CS2 just for isolating objects properly. What do you think? If you got the money, buy CS3! The new "define edge" function is great for isolations.

Wow great prices! But I swore myself never to enter one of those * contests again. What if you lose? At least at StockXpert your image was also for sale. I don't even submit to Crestock, I don't waste my time on low earners.
