Is it even possible to apply to gettyimages (the macrostock page)? and what are they actually looking for ? is there any information ?
btw i think nature images they will NOT search for hm ?
++ is it even worth it? the macrostock ? or is it much better to offer the images in microstock only anyone here who got nearlier experience - comparison micro- to macrostock ?
Well, let me be straight forward: None of the images I am seeing in your portfolios would get you anywhere into premium collections. They look like a mix of random snap shots and a few of the typical microstock design things that are really hard to explain (yeah, they sell...). Have a look at Getty, Corbis, Stocksy, Offset, Masterfile, Plainpicture, Gallery Stock or any other premium site and see the images they offer on page 1 for any given topic.
For any premium collection, you will first have to learn to plan shoots - that includes market research, image styles, model/location/prop organization, lighting properly and post processing. No agency will allow you to do that at their expense.
I do make a better RPI at mid and macro stock these days but then again I get fewer images into them than I can get into microstock. Still it's much more fun and challenging.

You first need to focus on learning photography.
By the way: Already know what white balance is? http://www.microstockgroup.com/general-stock-discussion/while-balance-how-and-how-important
Not all are perfect like you. If you don't want to help, at least don't discourage others.

I take it you didn't get your invite.
I don't know about this 'premier select' thing. Probably what you are saying is true, but why should we believe you without any evidence?

You can contact the contributor help and ask them to do that ... but prepare yourself to wait a very long time for them to answer.
Already contacted, 3 weeks ago... still waiting...

You can delete all of them, canceling your contract.
I just want to edit my copyright notice, but it seems not possible.

Is it possible to delete or edit details of already accepted image?
What sort of images they sell most? Most my my images are travel images.
Are you get notified when an image is downloaded?
No. One million dollar question. Yes.
Thanks a lot for replies. It's bit scary to hear that I cannot delete my own images once they got accepted.

Seems to work the same as it did in the flickr days. Has a couple of sales occasionally, usually rakes in 50$+ on a sale however have seen sales as low as 1$. License is RF only, has a separate moments collection on the getty page (not sure how the collections are categorized now). I don't think it has any relation to iStock.
I recently got accepted as a contributor to moment collection. I only uploaded few images so far, no sales yet. Is it possible to delete or edit details of already accepted image? In SS, my port size is up by 40% compared to last year's June. And my income is down by 25% compared to last years June. July is even worse.
It seems like I have already hit the wall. Keep uploading doesn't help me at all. I'm thinking of stop uploading for sometime and see what will happen. Do you think that the income will drop down rapidly?

Eh ...nothing can beat this one guys Rejection reason: "...because we couldn't vet your profile"
CherryMusic 22 Jun 2015 21:16 Hello. Is that a normal rejection reason? I mean i'm totally dissapointed of Pond5's communication. Here's the story.
I never been asked to upload an ID or do anything regarding verifying my profile. Now i got a rejection of my last series and i decided to write to a currator. As i submit music to other platforms as well, i know that some stock sites has an option to ask for a second review. So i asked currator if i can get a second review. Then after two emails talking with the currator i got a message from him that my tracks were likely rejected (quote): "because we couldn't vet your profile". What the.. Why do i hear it for the first time and from a currator and after two emails and after i wrote to hime myself first??? Is it a normal communication of Poin5? Shouldn't pond ask for a verification in a normal way? Now after i write to a currator, i finally hear that i need to send him my ID? Is it safe to send my ID scan to a person? Wouldn't that be normal to have an upload form?
All in all, i feel very dissapointed. Almost 200 tracks here on Pond5 already, and all this situation is now so dissrespectful..

I currently have an iPhone 5s (I've had iPhones since an iPhone 3G in 2008) and for the first time am considering that my next phone might be something else. A photographer friend recent got the LG-G4 which has been getting great reviews for its camera.
I use a mac and have been increasingly frustrated with Apple's software on that and on my iPhone. The TouchID on my phone is a lovely idea but it just doesn't work for me - who knows what's wrong with my thumbs? Possibly their new camera will be breathtaking, but given the mounting frustrations over various Apple products, color me skeptical.
I never had enough money for Apple's over priced products.

Just interested to know what kind of images mostly selling under this category? I have a port of 4500 images and didn't get any such downloads. My images are mostly travel photos.

And just to add to the jollity of it all, I'm getting Illustratve Editorial images rejected for Altered Editorial -- Major alterations to editorial content such as adding or removing objects from a scene are prohibited. Alterations that go beyond traditional photographic techniques (dodging/burning, cropping, color adjustments, etc.) are unacceptable. when I have done NOTHING. Nothing added, nothing taken away. But how can I prove this? Sigh........
Complain, have a laugh, and resubmit

Ok, review results of my last editorial batch received. I had 4 images taken from a DSLR which were rejected for out of focus and only image taken from my mobile phone was accepted. Feeling crazy! :-@

April and May were incredibly slow for me too, but June has really picked up since day 1. I'm getting one ODD or SOD out of every 7.8 DLs this month. No ELs for a while though, I'm overdue for some
My numbers are not that good, I'm getting one ODD or SOD out of every 12.71 DLs this month. My income from ODD are half of the income from SUBs, which is the norm for me.

I experienced the same in April and May, but it's back to normal in June.

Old images are selling for the first time. I thought they were just dead.
New uploads are getting sales next day or shortly after being accepted. And repeat DLs after that.
And some older popular images get DLs day after day. It's like they have some magic popular sign and buyers are attracted.
I'm really happy and finding that my earnings on IS have also been improving.
WOW I'm really happy...
Happy for you Uncle Pete

How about you first.
Sure. Since I am new to the video stock, right now I have around 200 *usable* clips and they take around 22GB of space.
What do you mean by "usable"?
