You now have to click on the contributors tab from the Account settings link - but there is a glitch there as they have two View payments links. The top one is for the current months sales the bottom one is for the payment details.

It doesn't work for the current month unless you put todays date in the top field and June 1 in the bottom field
Seems Bass-Akwards
edit: that seems to be the case always - you need to put the 30th in the top field and the 1st in the bottom field. Just awkward. And the opposite of the Fotolia stats way of doing it.

you said: "The photographer is a freelancer - this is not a 'work for hire' scenario"
wrong. he was approached by a woman who asked him to film her animals. it is a work for hire.
freelance would mean he shot a bunch of animals and then proposed selling them to the woman, which he suggested as an alternative.
Thank God there's an ignore button - I recommend everybody put this (can't think of an appropriate adjective) on that list.

https://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ09.pdf Owner of the Copyright in a Work Made for Hire "If a work is made for hire, the employer or other person for whom the work was prepared [for] is the initial owner of the copyright" (not the photgrapher)
Read the whole thing - The photographer is a freelancer - this is not a 'work for hire' scenario.

I thought their terms were by the 15th. But...
From their site: 1. My account has surpassed the minimum payout limit. How do I request for payment? No request is necessary. If you are eligible, we will pay you according to the payment method you have selected in your profile. Payments should reach you by the 17th of the month for all forms of payment.

Don't buy your own stuff you could be booted for that.
Why would they boot you for that? Are some agencies afraid that you'd find out you weren't been credited? It makes no sense...
It's in their terms. From SS Shutterstock has the right to refuse to establish an account or to close any existing account, for fraud, intellectual property infringement, violation of a third party's rights including those of privacy or publicity, artificially inflating downloads,

Very good idea. I have always wonder if some of the small sites are honest.
I wonder about all of them!

That happened to me the other day but it corrected itself in an hour or so, and the commissions were applied.

Phew - the amount on the 1099-Misc is exactly what I reported for that company!
Same here - this is a first for them.

I requested mine on the 1st and got it the 4th. (not bragging or anything - just wanted to let you know some were timely). I would be concerned too at this point.

My apologies, I was looking at my 2016 return earlier comparing earnings with 2017 and then checked 123 again. I got my years messed up. I need a vacation ...
Don't we all?

It seems so. Sometimes I need to just quckly find and download an image from my portfolio. I always used 123rf for that purpose, now they want to charge me for downloading my own images. Is there any agency out there which allows to find and download one's own images for free ?
Thanks,
Bummer - that's was an added bonus to upload there.

It's the logo for Imagine China a major photo agency which handles images for a host of other agencies. Google it and you will get a list of some of them (though I didn't see any micro sites listed). Hope that helps.
Yay is one of the micros.

I also shoot tethered in studio all the time. Lightroom simply does not work with Nikon and Apple in tether mode. I initially got lightroom so i could shoot tethered but i wasted so much time trying to make it work only to get one shot then have to reboot to get another. I now use CamRanger to shoot tethered wirelessly - works perfectly.
I never had such problems with the precedent versions of LR
CamRanger, I should try it, is there a trial version?
Unfortunately not- a bit pricey as its a piece of wifi equipment that connects to your camera that wirelessly connects to the computer. Tether Tools has a less expensive system. There is also sofortbild.com that is free software that depending on your OS and camera that might be an option. Use to be free but they are charging something now thru the app store. I'd post links but travelling and have poor connection.

So far it looks like most of us (me included) have no idea what our best is nor what to do with it.

RPD (all time) at SS can vary depending on when you joined:
ODs came about in middle 2008 and it wasnt until late 2011 when SODs were introduced. My average is .70 since 2006.
Interestingly even though sales are down - RPD is up every year. Last year it was .91
This month its .97
At iS last year RPD was .67 Jan 2018 was .62 A quick glance back at the last 5 years the average is .62 - the low being .55

They say they are going after a different market, and in theory won't affect the normal sales.
That's what all agencies say when they do this. It has never been true. Not once
Totally Agree.

It initially is by invite. Not everything is available. If you are invited to opt in you can select which items to include.

The reply I got: from precy @ canva.com on the 9th (that's who Lees's out-of-office email says to contact).
Hi,
We are aware of this and are working on it to fix it. We will send the right amount asap.
Thanks for your patience!
