Seriously - was that directed at me?
I typed what I thought might be an issue from previous discussions but I didn't look up something somebody said months ago and copy and paste.

Mat,
Upload is not working with Safari. Cannot drag and drop. Clicking on Browse does not work.  I can upload using Chrome or SFTP but none of the functions for uploading work with Safari. I can see the image uploaded with SFTP but cannot complete the operation - none of the buttons are clickable in Safari.

The web uploader isn't working using Safari but works with Chrome

I got it too, very vague on details.

It says
"If youre happy with our selection, then no further action is needed. If you would like to add or delete files, please do so within 7 days of receiving this email."

but no explanation on how to do any of that.

I just got the separate remittance but no per image info available yet. About the same as last month...just a few $ more.

Same - except a few pennies less.

Matt,
Seeing as we already get sales listed as Custom shouldnt these be called something else in the spirit if true transparency?

8
So my question is when are these royalties are calculated? By the quotes below from your FAQ it is not clear. If its proportional to downloads is it at the end of the month or somehow calculated on the fly??? But no matter how this SUCKS.

Contributors will receive 33% royalties of the Adobe Stock revenue from Pro Edition downloads for every seat sold. Payouts will be distributed among Contributors proportional to their downloads.

And:
Earnings from Pro Edition are labeled Custom on your earnings page in the Contributor Portal.

Interesting - the site's been working fine for me and they are reviewing pretty regularly.

On an even more interesting note is that in the Tax Center there is now a 2020 Earning Payout Statement ready to download.
Not a 1099 just a statement, more than they did last year.

Several months all add up to the same dollar amount, all higher than originally reported with the exception of November which is considerably higher than the original total.

Correct we are not employees. They aren't our agents either. Yes, I'd like to get paid a fair return for my work. Correct, I don't think a CEO is worth $4.7 million either. Unless they can make the company $20 million more under their leadership of course.

You'll have to read the board meeting minutes if you are going to say they have targeted us because of shareholder demands or officers designing changes to take away income from artists as individuals. I haven't so I make no claim except from past experience. You need to look for facts and come back with some proof or evidence to support your allegations, not just, generalized attacks.

I think all of us are ahead of the 4th quarter report that might show us how they are doing. I don't own SSTK and I don't have insider knowledge. I'm waiting to see what comes out.

If you were the company owner, how long would you keep paying people over 300% of what you earned on many large package downloads? Or on others, more than you make. What kind of business sense does it take to understand you can't operate at a loss, and make a profit?

I agree with a lot of your insights. SS was never in the business of making contributors money - they were and are only in the business of making themselves money. That's their business making money. The fact that we make (OR MADE) money along the way was irrelevant to SS.

I also think that if Subs packages aren't profitable for them they should either not sell sub packages or raise the price to a level that does make them money.

There's a bug - they know about it and are on it. Earlier today everybody had a negative balance.

Don't know what to tell you - but I requested my money on the 24th and got it today.

I had a $190 sale in August, that was refunded on Nov 4, and repurchased for $50 same day. That $50 sale was then refunded on Nov 5, and then repurchased again for $50 also on the 5th. The terms appear to be the same.

Adobe Stock / Re: 2020 Contributor bonus program
« on: November 12, 2020, 16:05 »
As my subscription was running out last month I was totally disappointed with support and trying to come up with a reasonable solution to carry me over until  I get my new code in February. I'm over the 5k downloads and they couldn't help me other than to pay monthly at $32 when a yearly plan would cost less. Adobe dropped the ball on this one.

18
After the 'exciting news' from SS I actually steered a some buyers to Adobe to purchase images.

That won't be happening again.

19
And I still haven't heard back from support.

Today his portfolio is still visible but clicking on individual images brings up a -  404 error page

I saw that when checking just now.

However, I have not heard squat from iStock support, in spite of their message saying they'd respond within 24 "business hours"...

I haven't heard from iStock either.

Did yall know theres a huge group of people who use canva to create simple designs which they offer for sale as digital downloads on Etsy?  Nothing extra to the contributor.

No!
Thanks for the heads up - Do you have a link?
