Hi all,
I came across something strange today, I have found a portfolio of 814 files, the most downloaded file have 4 download, and the photographer have a gold rank. How is that possible?

This is too old script which dont convert to image 16bit, not making new 50%transparecy darken layer with despecle filter or even more actions. Too simple to be useful for most images for reasampling. Its better to make few actions...
I was referring to how to resize a batch of differently cropped images to the required 48mb size, regardless of their original sizes. With this action, that is exactly what one could do. The only problem is that the script runs only on opened images, so you have to open all of the images you want to resize in PS and then batch process them. Anyway, I can always add any other task to the same action if I want to. And why do I need to convert to 16bit, or add a new 50% transparency layer, regarding image resize for Alamy?

How did you get rid of the flickering?
I don't really know. I shoot them at the rate of a frame every 7 to 10 seconds, compressed, and save them at 24fps. Luckily it works for me.

Hi leaf. Cool (literaly) video you got there. I have (for now) 4 time lapse video clips in my SS gallery here: http://footage.shutterstock.com/videos.html?submitter_id=109921I did them all in photoshop cs4 first working in raw file converter, cropping to 1080x1920px removing all spots, and saving as jpeg in a new folder. Then I open them all as a video layer in PS CS4 learn here how: http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/video_workshop/?id=vid0027 - the link doesn't seem to work right, the video you should look for is "working with image sequence" and than exporting them into a quicktime movie, in jpeg-photo compression. I try to shoot images that have a clear message or purpose, are colorful and easy to use and technically well done. I think that draws people to my portfolio, and I have plenty of buyers that say they keep coming back because they like my work. I guess that's my "brand".
I totally agree, but oops, Sean, you just gave us a tip!!!

Facebook,twitter,etc...
Is it get better with these...!?
Is there a way to know? I do not see how it could help? DT is now connected to your Facebook account but shall I spam my friends to buy my photos?
My Twitter followers are not exactly my friends, and I find it nice to let my FB friends and twitter followers to know what I have been doing recently in my microstok work. If I get any downloads, I don't know if they came from there.

I would stay out of the server stuff if you don't know what you're doing and just use Filiezilla the simple way: local to (microstock agency) server.
Wow, that's mind blowing information. Please do teach us, if you don't mind, how to do that remote to remote file transfer from our machine with Filezilla. After all I suppose most of us are here to get educated. Thanks a lot.

Thanks,
Maybe I will try their free subscription and see how it goes.
If income will increase in (much) more than subscription fee so why not?

Hi J
I figure there is always a back up version at the agency but the Macros make you pay full price for your own work so it might get pricey to download your entire portfolio if you wanted to, If you want to.
You are wrong about that. 123rf lets you download all your files for free. You can read all about it here: http://www.123rf.com/blog/blog.php?idblog=b1000006 Noam

hi Jonathan. I'm a bit lost here, either I don't understand the RR concept (regarding pricing) or I don't understand Getty's price policy. If I understood right, you once mentioned about your RR collection, that: ...my returns there are my strongest anywhere...
Wasn't that thanks to a lower price structure on RR than for RM (if this is right)? or was it for more salable images on that collection? And if so, why would Getty set a higher price structure in such an economical time? Hope I made myself clear. I'm confused Noam
