Mirko has an awesome port.
I remember in my early days with microstock around early 2020, mirko posted earnings for one month - $2500!
I asked him if this was for all his ports combined and he told me just Shutterstock and that he actually earned around $4500 in total that month.
I hope he's still doing well as he's clearly put in a lot of work and investment with his shoots, models, props and concepts.
I dont earn anywhere near that usually (only once when shutterstock purchased images from me - opps not meant to mention that) but i dont put any work in, photos of road signs gets me over $100 a month from shutterstock, keywording takes 5 mins max a week using microstockplus....if I want to do actual photography i'll get my film camera out - which earns me zero! :-)

For me Shutterstock is steadily catching up with Adobe sales, I reckon Shutterstock sales will overtake Adobe by end of the year.

I was down 30%, does anyone know how to find the total number of monthly downloads without manually counting pages of numbers? The old system is showed it very clearly

Adobe need to update their 8 week review period as they have failed to achieve this incredible long time frame. I have over 300 images awaiting review now with the longest being 10 week wait. Things improved early 2024 but now have got worse than ever before. If they want to take forever to review images Adobe need to be honest and increase their stated 8 weeks and accept their embarrasment.
If you are a representative of Shutterstock, I would like to ask you - how much longer will Shutterstock mock its own site? What did you dislike about the old design? Or is the redesign a way to embezzle corporate money?
We thought the old design was too easy to navigate for contributors and wanted a design to make it harder and remove some options. We thought this was logical and meets our quest pee off contributors.

$250/ week is alot for only 2000 images at one agency ( I get about $250 / month for 8000 images - no AI), I find Adobe good for sales but review time is ridiculously long and their pay out time is ridiculously long.

I didnt start till 2018 but each year my earnings rise as more content is uploaded, I only upload 25 photos a week and have never missed a week in 6 years. I do photography as a hobby so dont consider it work and I work full time elsewhere. Ive reached $500 to $600 a month for doing relatively nothing I wouldnt normally be doing so Im happy with it.
To which agencies you are contributing, if you don't mind me asking.
Just the usual, Adobe, iStock, Shutterstock, Dreamtime, Alamy, Deposit, RF123, Pond5

It might be just as lazy as doing AI but you can buy 170 professional stock images with re-sale allowed for $12........cheaper than AI software subscription etc and you also can remain a couch potato. Not sure which is best?

If it wasn't for Microstock Plus (Mac) I don't think i'd even bother selling stock. I dont spend more than 5 minutes titling, keywording and uploading 25 images to 10 agencies.

I'm hoping for similar to last year but the big difference being last year I was paid in UK Sterling, this year will be in dollars so even if the same total, the pay out will be about 200 less!

Thanks, I was wondering what has happened to this year though, when you nominate, wait for Adobe to accept the get paid?

Does anybody know what has happened to the Adobe scheme where they buy the rights of your images for 12 months for 2024? I have not seen it mentioned anywhere? And how do you know if you still have imagines held by Adobe with them having full rights still from 2023? Thanks

My November sales were normal but my December sales were high, I see iStock still not showing number of downloads for February..

In terms of money; Subscription earned non returned images $50.67 Credit Pack earned non returned images $25.25 Premium Access earned but returned -$73.03
Surely at least the subscription and credit pack earnings are safe as they were not returned and premium access should just be $0 as all images were returned but instead I only get $5 plus it is unlikely all my premium access sales were from only one company. Defo not convinced there is a problem and we all need paid for non returned images.

Regardless of the explanation there is a problem, I never go under $150 a month and feb it shows $5 for the month. I do not believe my warnings can drop like that and iStock owe a lot of money to a lot of people for February. Everyone should raise a ticket.

All my negative sales are listed as Washington too, must be an error somewhere

Im not convinced there is no error on the royalties this month, Ive never had negative sales before in 5 years and my usual consistent $200 a month has dropped to $5 this month :-o with premium access stating a negative 1750%! All looks a bit odd..
