Now i know man came from apes as i was taught this in school and i accepted it.My parents also had me baptised into the church of england.I later changed my religion to a latter day saint ( mormom) although lapsed now i still feel heavenly father watches over me. So my question is....how can i believe in both.
Don't believe both. Evolution is fact. Religion is a delusion.

Also, by giving rights to Crestock to sell them you are killing your own earnings on other agencies as well as you get just peannuts for that 300 images on Crestock.
My average $ per download is higher at Crestock than Shutterstock. I'm not taking Crestocks side here, I think .25c for subscription download is absolute garbage, just providing what I have experienced at Crestock.

I've had 203 sales total averaging 48.5 cents per sale. This month the average is 68 cents per download. Considering how easy it is to submit, I still think its worth it.

best match is not the only way a buyer finds your file !
I'd say searching by best match accounts for 99.5% of sales, if not more.

Sales have picked up for me in the past 5 days. In fact, I've had more sales in the past 5 days than in the first 19 days of the month. Probably just luck, but did they change something? This month has already been better than last month, but that isn't saying much considering even Crestock beat IS in October. I too have lost my motivation to upload there. I can only hope for things to continue the way they have been the past 5 days, then maybe we will at least be on the right track.

This could be interesting who knows...
For me, Shutterstock and Dreamstime are the only two that bring in anything worth mentioning. About $12-20 a month from Shutterstock, nearly $300 total. Dreamstime has just recently taken off, getting about $10 a month but only $30 total.
I know for most of us it's probably just peanuts but I'm sure there are some that make quite a lot from it.

I signed up with just Istock, and now that I see how it works I would like to add the others as well, but I don't see a way to do that?
Thanks

If you know your way around photoshop you should be able to create somewhat interesting raster illustrations. They accept pretty much every illustration so that is an easy way to get through the application. My friend drew this pig in paint to see if SS would accept it as a joke. And sure enough...

This is my breakdown since the start of the year. 'Other' is mostly Crestock with a little Snapvillage and Canstockphoto. 123RF is not included in this because I have not been submitting there the full year.

The upload process takes no time at all, which is likely the main reason so many of us still submit there. I get decent sales there, nearing my 2nd payout in the last couple months. I'm satisfied with the growth.

Me too, I wonder why this system is so complicated if they can just use popular vote system?
It also must very frustrating for people from one party who live in "opposite party state" (like republicans in California). Does not matter what they do votes always go to one party :-)
One reason we don't use popular vote is because then the candidates would only campaign in highly populated areas and pay little attention to the rest of the country. The electoral college also makes it more interesting. Campaigns have to strategically plan how they can get the 270 electoral votes needed to win. I suppose if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Site - % this month - % change from last month
Shutterstock - 35% - +46% Dreamstime - 21% - +32% StockXpert - 16% - +48% Fotolia - 9% - -50% Crestock - 8% - +32% BME Istockphoto - 5% - -57% WME Bigstockphoto - 4% - -26% 123RF - 3% - -77% WME
Overall earnings nearly identical to last month. Lots of volatility. Pleasantly surprised at Crestock's performance though.

This month has been by far my worst month ever at Istock. Only one fifth of what I got last month, which was also a bad month. Overall, using the average of what I have made at IS per month, October is looking to come in at about 14% of what I usually make in 1 month there. That's an 86% drop.
I'm not a big contributor or anything, but I have been on Istock for 12 months and this isn't one of the usual ups and downs for me.

They should do more to keep our older images selling. I would like us to be able to place a few images on the front page of the search, like some of the other sites let us do.
I very much agree with this. For me it is impossible to maintain steady sales at Shutterstock because I simply do not have time or the ability (college) to submit regularly like I did before. So my sales continue to decrease on SS, and for the most part stay the same on other sites. I wish they would allow you to select 10% of your portfolio for advanced search placement or something like what 123RF does. My faved images on 123RF outsell all my other images combined, granted my faved images are also my top quality images.
